Today had been a really rough day for Teresa Jane, they had just closed a case where a little girl age of 7 months was kidnapped and then brutally murdered.
Anne Marie Thomas was the same age as little Michelle Elizabeth Jane. Soon Teresa heard a ringing and looked around to see a blue screen on her laptop with a picture of Patrick holding baby Michelle. Teresa smiled and hit answer.
"Hey."Teresa said forcing a smile on her face.
"Teresa what's wrong?"Patrick asked with a high level of concern in his voice.
"We just wrapped up a case."Teresa said.
"Your not telling me the whole truth."He answered
"Okay,fine your right I'm not. The case was a 7 month old girl named Anne Marie Thomas was kidnapped and then brutally murdered and the whole case I was worried about Michelle and what if the killer wanted another victim and he chose upon on thousands of babies in the world, my little angel."Teresa said starting to cry.
Teresa then saw a little hand go in front of the camera.
"Looks like someone wants to see Mama just as much as mama wants to see her."He said and by what she could hear and see he picked Michelle.
Teresa smiled and said, "Hey sweetheart."
Michelle's head raised a little at the sound of her mother's soft and sweet voice.
"I miss you angel."She continued
Michelle babbled and touched the camera with her tiny little hand and Teresa watched as Jane smiled and pressed a kiss to Michelle's Black curls causing Michelle to giggle her beautiful giggle and touch Jane's cheek with her hand.
"I think Michelle and I need some fresh air so I will bring Michelle to work and then we can take a walk with her."Jane said.
"I cant wait, I love you, I love you too angel."Teresa said.
"I love you too Teresa, and so does little pepper."Jane said and hung up.
Teresa then smiled at the memory of when Sam first called her Pepper, so when Jane saw that Michelle had her Black and hair and emerald green eyes he insisted on calling her little pepper.
