Harry ran back from the site, thoughts running a mile a minute. 'Mrs. Olympe and that Death Eater Karkaroff were both there, so that would mean that Fleur and Victor would know. Hagrid asked me to come, so that means that he wouldn't actually tell anybody, but Cedric was nowhere to be found. So now, everybody but Cedric will soon know that Dragons are the first challenge. Cedric will be at a disadvantage. That is so not totally fair! I have to warn him. Tomorrow. I don't really know where the Hufflepuff common room is, and it is too late to go now.'

Luckily for Harry, there was nobody out and about in his way to the Gryffindor common room. Even luckier, nobody was awake in the common room. Only 4 sleeping husks draped over various surfaces. And luckiest of all, no one was up in the Fourth Year dorm, so Harry was able to stealthily sneak over to his bed without anyone noticing. Not that one of the four others would wake if he made a moderately loud sound; Ron's snoring would cover almost every rational noise made in there. Now, they would wake if he began shouting, but he didn't, so he wasn't heard by anyone.

Harry was asleep almost immediately following his head hitting his pillow, adding his own soft snores to the mix.

The next morning, Harry woke up, and did his normal routine. Afterwards, while he was walking to the Great Hall for breakfast, he rounded a corner, only to see Cedric all alone. Now was his moment. Perfect timing for him to warn Cedric about the first task, now only three days away.

"Hey, Cedric, may I speak with you for a moment?"

Cedric paused for a moment. 'Should I talk to him, hear him out, see what he has to say? Or should I keep going and ignore him? Hmm, well since I already stopped in the middle of the hallway, I might as well turn around to converse with him.' Cedric turned around slowly to face Harry, and, with subtle warning undertones, he asked back, "What do have to talk about, Mister Potter?"

"Last night, Hagrid asked me to follow him into the woods, and I saw what the first task is going to be. Headmistress Olympe and Headmaster Karkaroff were both there, and so I don't want you to be the only one to not know what we will have to face in a few days time. I'm basing that last sentence on the probability that the other two were—"

"Get on with it, Mister Potter. I don't have all day. Breakfast will not last that long, so if you don't hurry up with your information, that neither of us will get any breakfast," interrupted Cedric, who was beginning to get angry.

"Well, the first task that we will have to face will somehow involve Dragons. Nasty 50 feet tall ones, too."

"Mister Potter! I do not have time for your little games and lies! I have had enough of you wasting my time trying to distract me from the upcoming competition. I know that you are three years younger, and thus three years less experienced, but fabricating highly preposterous and fictitious myths to have a chance. How about you stop bugging me and go fend for yourself!" With that, the Hufflepuff champion huffed and stormed away in an almost furious rage, anger showing on his young face.
