Hey guys, Brynn here! I have been reading through some stories, and I found one topic that I wanted to write a story on. The marriage law. I am a huge fan of Dramione, so I thought I would do a Dramione marriage law fic. This is the first chapter. Here is a more detailed description.

Muggle-Born and Pureblood relations have been completely destroyed after the war. There are many sensible solutions to this, but the Ministry of Magic is never sensible. They decide the only solution is to force muggle-borns to marry purebloods. As Hermione gets involved in politics, rebuilding, and more… naughty things with her husband, she finds that the Malfoys, and the whole wizarding world in general is much different from her original thoughts.

See Ya Soon!

Chapter 1 (Hermione POV) December 16, 1999

Running. I was running from my husband's enemies. I had nothing but my husband left in this world. My parents had died 1 month before my graduation, killed by a rogue Death Eater. Ron had never been truly dating me, but he wanted nothing to do with me now, because of my husband. The whole Weasley family followed in his footsteps. I suppose that wasn't my fault, but I still felt guilty that Harry had to choose between me and Ron. I was jolted back to the present, though, when a green jet of light shot past my face, illuminating the determined faces of my husband, and Harry. I was sure we would die, when…

Brynn: Wait, wait, wait! *Frowns* You can't die, or reveal my amazingly awesome twist ending yet!

Hermione: Why not? Also, good job hiding Ma- I mean my husband's identity from the reader.

Brynn: Thanks! It was hard bu- wait, back on topic. I am going to go back to your graduation.

Hermione: Okay, but don't do those Doctor Who sound-

Brynn: Too Late! *turns on phone and plays Doctor Who theme*

9:00 P.M, Hogwarts Graduations

January 1st, 1990

As I breathed in the fresh air coming from the castle gates, it finally sunk in. I would never see this school again. My life had changed so much here after the war. Ron and I hadn't made any more attempts at a relationship after the war. We had both realized that the feelings we had shared were fake. We pretended to love each other, because we were pressured to. After we both realized that, we slowly drifted apart. We were still friends, but not as close as was possible. Harry and I were much closer, and without Ron's bigotry, we had befriended a Slytherin. Malfoy was that Slytherin. He was a lot like me, and we had become just as close as I had to Harry. He was smart, and he secretly wanted to break the traditions and rules, but was forced to hide it. As I exited the castle, intending to find Malfoy, I tripped, and nearly fell into the lake. Before I fell, two callused, but graceful, hands caught me, one around my midsection, one around my hips. They pulled me up, and into the firm chest of Malfoy. At impact, his hand accidentally slipped to my bum. We stayed like that for a moment, until he had to turn to "adjust his robes". Like him, I knew I had a little wet spot in my knickers from arousal. When he turned back, he had a solemn look on his face. Instead of explaining it, he asked

"Okay, Granger?"

"Yeah, has 'little you' stopped being so enraged?"

"I didn't think you noticed that!"

"I didn't, until you just confirmed it for me. *laughs at him*"

"Wow, you tricked me!*mock cries*"

"Yeah, I did. What is wrong with that? And what is that parchment in your hand?"

He got the solemn look again, handing me the parchment. It read:

In order to recreate the muggleborn and pureblood relations, and repopulate the wizarding community, a pureblood-muggleborn marriage law has been instated. A muggleborn and pureblood will be wed. You, Draco Abraxas Malfoy, and Hermione Jean Katie Granger, are to be wed. You are expected to be wed within one year, and produce an heir within three.

As I processed what this meant, I realized. I was going to marry Malfoy! I was basically buggered. His parents were Death Eaters! Muggle and Muggleborn haters!

"You will, of course, live with me, at Malfoy Manor. Correct?"

As I heard the longing, and saw the same long, along with a look clearly saying that he didn't want to be rejected, I could not resist.

"Yes, of course I will."

Oh My Buddha! What will happen next? I don't even know! Okay, I do, but you don't!

I hope in the name of Buddha that I can get a new chapter done by this time next week. Well, until then, do your meditation, love all life (including your own), and stay awesome!
