She could have been a siren leading many a men to their doom. She might capture their soul and drag it to the pits of despair. But sometimes they grab hold of her heart and scratch and claw in attempt not to go under. In the end they have to let go and they will meet their end. She however is left behind with her damaged heart, forever made the villain. She should have been a siren at least they had sisters to share the pain.

He could have the Midas touch and fill his life with riches. He could be happy and still wish for more. Let someone hear and curse his finger. He could touch what he wants and make it shiny and beautiful and most importantly his, all his. When he collects it all, it will weigh him down but he'll take it because it's his, after all. He will be surrounded by a mess of riches and gold and when he thinks he's got what he wants it still won't be enough. He does have the Midas touch, everything he touches turn to shit.

She could have been the queen, not the princess. For the Queen is the woman behind the man, the reason the kingdom is all powerful. She is poised, graceful and plain perfect and aims to stay that way. But she also feels insecure, pressured and most of all neglected. So when a pretty damsel, gorgeous stepdaughter or anything threatening appears before her she will fall. She will dabble in the black arts only for it to blow up in her face. She will lose it all because of her fear to lose it all. She is the queen fallen from grace.

While he was lured by the siren, his queen dropped her mask of perfection. She showed those beautiful flaws that Midas could not resist. Midas had branded the queen with gold but she had managed to save her king from the siren. But not for long for the siren sang a song of truth that shattered all.
