So, I'm finally doing a drabble series! I'm doing the whole oneword shenanigans. A lot of this stuff is going to be poetic and whatnot. I'm gonna be playing around with format and first person, so a lot of stuff might be changing. Please enjoy guys! (:

Adoring Passage
Delicate
----
I sit here alone, identical routine.
Each daybreak.
Each sunrise.
Nothing changes.
I am still alone, on my own, unaccompanied.
One thing amends.
Delicate. Light.
Weightless. Free.
It descends slowly, gently onto the surface of normalcy.
A white feather.
I look up to reveal nothing.
A zephyr dances across my back.
Odd… I didn't open the window.
I gaze out the windowpane, leaning on it, my head outside viewing the city below.
More feathers.
I catch five in my hand, release them, and watch as they float freely downward.
My eyes following them.
What a sight to behold.
There she is.
Fragile white wings steal her away into the light.
She's even more beautiful than the last time.
