A key is used to unlock things. This is a fact, a straightforward, simple, fact.

For every key there is a lock.

This is yet another simple, straightforward, fact.

For every lock there is a key.

This, though similar to the previous statement, is false.

Because, you see, not all locks can be unlocked. Some locks stay locked, forever, and just are simply there, to take up space.

For, what is the use of protecting something with a lock that is impossible to open?

Such is my heart. I do not need it; it is just there. So why bother to keep it at all?

Maybe my heart will remain unopened, because I cannot even begin to imagine the person who would have the key.

Perhaps there is no key.

But the question is, do I care?

Do I want to find the key?

Maybe someday, but for now, no. I do not care. I just want to die.
