"Not really," Olive said, "Chyna and I had a big fight. She just doesn't understand that when I'm in an authoritative position I can't be a friend."

"Why not," Gibson asked, "I mean I'm your friend and a friend to all the A.N.T.S."

"I tried the fun way," Olive said, "They just laughed at me"

"Olive," Gibson said, "You go to extremes. There is a middle ground you know"

"Like what," Olive asked.

"Like me," Gibson said, "Do you think I ever say what you said in history class?"

"Um... not that I've seen you haven't," Olive said, "But you know you're different. I'm a nerd that can't relate to people."

"Nerd? No you're not a nerd. You're smart. That doesn't make you a nerd"

"Lexie thinks I'm a nerd"

"And what did Chyna do to upset you," Gibson asked.

"She says things sometimes that hurt my feelings like "and whatever Olive is good for" She doesn't understand what good my skill is"

"Does she know it hurts your feelings," Gibson asked

"I give her a look. I put my hands on my hips. I-"

"That's not what I asked. Have you ever told her outright that her behavior hurts your feelings. You can't expect her to guess"

"Um... well I never really told her outright but I assumed that she would understand my nonverbal and sometimes verbal cues."

"No," Gibson said, "She needs to know directly. Go on. TALK WITH HER"

"Hey Chyna got a minute," Olive asked.

"No," Chyna said, "I'm still mad at you"

"Yeah I know. I would be mad at me too if I were you. Look Chyna it hurts my feelings when you make fun of me and sometimes I feel like you send conflicting messages. You say one thing and then you get mad at me when I act that way."

"You don't act that way. You turn into Hyde"

"Hyde from Jekel and-"

"STOP BEING A HUMAN TEXTBOOK AND START BEING MY FRIEND," Chyna yelled, "Honestly put yourself in my shoes for a minute. How do you think you might feel if you were in my shoes"

"Well we're the same size," Olive said

"Not literally. I mean if I treated you the way you treated me don't you treated me today"

"Bad," Olive admitted, "But I'm just a kid. I don't know how to find the middle ground. That's what adults do"

"I'm not an adult and I do that," Chyna pointed out

"Yeah but you're not a nerd," Olive said, "I am"

"You're smart," Chyna said, "and I'm sorry if I make fun of you but you get on my nerves sometimes"

"Well what are we going to do about this? I mean I don't want to fight with you. I really don't. But if we make up that would be like me showing that I like you better then everyone else"

"Or that would be like you showing that you and I are friends and that you realized you were wrong"

"We could say this fight never happened," Olive said, "That would save both of our pride anyway"

"Okay," Chyna said, "I can't stay mad at you anyway"
