"Sore. Yeah," Sam snapped. "It's bullshit. If I get even a mark, you demand to see it; but when you get hurt, it's okay. Why?"

Dean blinked, sighed, and then looked away. "Because I don't want you to know."

"Dude, you don't think I know?"

Tired eyes looked up and Sam decided to leave it. For now.

As clothes came off, Sam started to notice the bruises, cuts, and scars. Some new, some old. All painful looking. "God… Dean."

Sad eyes met and Dean smiled sadly. "And now you know."
