THE SIGHTLESS EYE
Chapter 01 : The Prophecy
"And the evil that was once vanquished shall rise anew.
Wrapped in the guise of man,
He shall walk amongst the innocent
And Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth.
The skies shall rain fire, and the seas will become as blood.
The righteous shall fall before the wicked,
And all of Creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell.
Behold, the war amongst the Heavens shall not be contained
And the sons of man shall be engulfed in the flood of conflict,
And all hope shall be lost unto them.
And He shall make war upon the Heavens,
And the Heavens shall gird themselves as for battle.
The righteous shall fall upon the wicked
And lay siege to the very gates of Hell.
And He shall take peace from mankind
And loose great Destruction upon the Earth.
The Lord of Hatred shall ascend his throne,
And the fires of Hell shall devour all.
And He shall meet out his vengeance upon all flesh.
The blood of innocence shall run as great torrents."

It was raining hard, with the winds sending small branches flying into the air. A small fire cackled inside a makeshift tent, and on the outer portion, sat a dozen fallen, huddled close together. The fallen is the lowest ranked demon in the burning hells. They could be easily distinguished by their red skin, scimitars, and crude metallic shields. A dozen fallen is led by a fallen shaman. At the moment, their shaman was outside, speaking in an incomprehensible tongue with a cloaked figure.
After a few exchange of words, the fallen shaman knelt in front of the figure, bent his upper body, and touched his forehead on the ground. The figure, without acknowledging the gesture turned around and walked away leisurely.
"Who could this cloaked figure be?" wondered some of the fallen. They have never seen their shaman bow this low to an unknown. "Maybe it's a higher demon." Some thought. Who knows? It could be The Lord of Hatred himself.
