You can always count on me
(Chad's pov)
I was walking out of the studio, and then I had heard soft and quiet muffles. I turned on the corner and followed the sound, and found out it was no other than Ms. Sonny Monroe. But it didn't look like her; she looked sad and upset; hurt and frail. This was not the same Sonny I had known, not the same happy and optimistic girl from the cast of "So Random", someone completely different, because the steaks of mascara on her face sad something different from this once happy girl. She was on the floor, her knees up to her chest, and her head to her knees, I just wanted to hold her and tell her everything was alright. I wish I could just take away her pain because I could feel it on me too. Her clothes were ripped, and torn, and she looked so sad
"Sonny," I asked in a polite voice, "Is that you?" She had simply nodded.
"Are you okay?" I asked. I knew the answer, but I was hoping I was wrong. She shook her head, and I knew I had been right.
"What's the matter?" I asked, taking her into my arms, as she put her head to my chest. Her breathing was unsteady, and she was shaking all over.
"Tom….he….he….he…," was all she could mutter out. I rubbed her back a circular motion as I told her it was going to be okay. Tom was her boyfriend which I knew he was bad from the start, but I knew telling her that now wasn't going to be comforting.
"He told me……that we were going to a party…..but he instead……he…..he….he… raped…..raped…," she cried. I held onto her tighter, and I was going to beat Tom for what he had done. He was so going to pay, but right now Sonny needed me, and I was just going to stay here.
"Shh….sh…," I repeated to her softly, "It's going to be okay, I promise."
"He will pay, I promise," I told her. She simply nodded, and I tried to make everything better, but it was so hard.
I looked at her as she looked back at me. She was so beautiful even if she was crying. I couldn't help myself, I kissed her, ever so gently, and it was amazing. We stay in that same position for hours talk, crying, and kissing.
I brought her home, and kissed good-night. Before I left I made sure she was going to be okay.
"I promise you, that you can always count on me," I told her, as I left. I kissed her, and held her tightly then I went home knowing that everything was going to be okay.
