Wardstar
THE FABLE
The highest point in the Galaxy is marked by mystery. It is said that a man died there in a great storm, while binding a great evil that threatened the whole Galaxy. With him died all knowledge of light swords, and the ancient deity known only as the Force. Then the ice came again, and when it retreated, even the shapes of the cosmic oceans and the names of the colossal cities scarring the faces of the planets had changed. Now, at that highest point, on 1 night a month the tip of Mt Flyke glows blood red. Nobody knows why. Nobody knows how. All anyone knows is its name. They call it—
The Wardstar.
Much to the distress of Grimalkin and the gang, Yoda's Republic think that they are new Separatist spies and they have sent Rexan and his apprentice, Yrestes, to negotiate with the group's two top warriors: Grimalkin and Tom. They formed an alliance.
CHAPTER 1: Ambushed!
"So you use you staffs to battle the Sith?" Yrestes asked.
"What are Sith?" Grimalkin answered with a question of her own.
Rexan replied, "Servants of the Dark."
"How do you know the name for them?" Yrestes and Grimalkin chorused.
"I grew up in your land." He replied coolly.
Grimalkin stared. "For instance, I know that you are the assassin of the Malkin clan and about your… strained relationship with the Fiend. Tom spoke for the first time."You know of our County?"
Rexan laughed.
"I was there as recently as last week. My condolences about your father, Tom." He added.
Suddenly, they heard an explosion. "We've been located;"Yrestes muttered, "let's go!"
They sprinted out of the building and headed towards Rexan's Starship, Myryam, which was named after his deceased mother.
Yrestes jumped in and Rexan yelled to him to pilot it. He then lifted Tom on board and was about to help Grimalkin up when she somersaulted over his head and through the hatch. She looked back at him and grinned. He shot her an admiring glance then turned and ignited his light orange saber and held it diagonally across his torso and readied himself to face the waves of Sith who had attacked.
"You'll die!" Grimalkin yelled.
"Leave! I'll try and join you. Yrestes knows where to go and what to do!" Rexan yelled.
He ran out to meet the enemies and began to battle furiously. He retreated back to a high skyscraper and ran up to the roof.
"Oh, sugar." There, face to face with him was the only one in the universe who could boast that Rexan. Before him, was Lana. Rexan couldn't be bothered with the usual moral discussions he and Lana had but he forced himself to talk to her. He needed time, or else he could have no hope of getting away. Suddenly, he saw the ship rising behind his not-so-beloved-sister and he decided to take his opportunity. He did a triple backwards 360 spin upside down somersault onto the opening hatch. Then, 2 things happened. Firstly, Rexan slipped from the hatch, and secondly, his ring slipped from his finger.
CHAPTER 2: REGROUP! REPEAT: REGROUP!
Grimalkin grabbed Rexan by the arm. She hauled him on board and grabbed his ring from the air.
"Fly, Yrestes, fly!" Rexan yelled.
"I am!" he retorted.
When they landed at Rexan's mansion, he told them to wait where they were until he returned. He sent some people in to the ship, carrying boxes which they placed in the cargo compartment. There was the Spook, Alice, Hannah and some others.
After a while, Rexan came out. "Go, quick. NOW!" he instructed. Just as they lifted off, the house exploded.
"My ship and all my stuff was in there!" Yrestes began hyperventilating.
"From now on, this ship is our home. We have too many enemies to be leaving our stuff around. All the essentials are in the boxes." Rexan replied. "Now, down to business…"
