My dad workjs for MHMR, and they are doing this whole campaign thing, Ban the "R" Word. So, I am going around this website, trying to promote it. This is the second one, the first is Ranger's Apprentice. So...yeah. Read it, reveiw it, and don't use the R word.

Hermione balanced carefully on her broom, her pale face masking none of the fear she was feeling.

Ron watched her, an amused expression on his face. He let out a chuckle, and said, "Why do you find this terrifying? It isn't that bad."

Hermione glared at him. "I don't do heights, Ron."

He laughed. "Finally, something that I'm better than Hermione Granger at!" He yelled happily.

Ron turned to look around, enjoying the view from so high up. He smiled, and tried not to laugh at the thought of Hermione hating this. He turned back to her. "How can you not be enjoying this? It looks amazing from here."

She growled at him. "It isn't natural..being this high." She squeaked out the last part. "I'm going back down." She turned her broom downard, but it sped much faster than she expected. She squealed, and quickly pulled it back upward.

Ron flew down, laughing. "You retard," he said, laughing, "Remember gravity?"

Hermione growled, and was about to say something when a strange girl with short blonde hair and light skin flew in, looking more shaky than even Hermione on her broom. She bit her lip and loked at Hermione. "I understand how you feel."

She turned to Ron, and pulled something out of her cloak. She handed it to Ron, who was a little unnerved by her gaze. He looked at the item, and was surprised to see that it was only a little pin-on button. It was white, excvept for a large "R" crossed out with an X. He looked back at her in confusion, just in time to see the book coming towards him.

Ron was only just able to keep his balance, and he glared at the girl, who was holding the book, poised to hit him again. "What was that for?"

"You shouldn't say that word, Ron!" She shouted, and Ron noticed for the first time the button pinned to her cloak.

"What word?" He said, and he became aware of Hermione laughing at him. He cast a quick glare at her and turned back to the girl.

She sighed in exasperation, as if it was obvious. "The R word!" She shouted again, and looked at Hermione. "Is he always this slow?"

Hermione nodded, smiling, and Ron said defensively, "I am not slow!"

The girl looked at him, and smiled. "Well, then you can probably figure this out." She flew off.

Ron looked at her back as she flew away, then glanced down at the button. "Oh." He whispered, "I get it."

He looked up at the clear sky, considering what the button meant.

Yay! We have more loyalties! The girl in this one is my friend, HPLunatic2499. Just so you know.
