"I know it's hard to believe but I do have honor" Fire, Ice, Thunder and Obsidian. -Prompts
A/N: For Thanatos Angelos Girl's 24 Hours if Romance Challenge in HPFC Forums. I don't own Harry Potter, I wish I did, but JKR does. This is Slash (my very first Slash) so if you don't like it, don't read it.
Best friends and lovers. Like fire and ice but oh so similar like grapes and wine. As if they were two sides of the same coin.
Sirius wouldn't speak to James after what had happened. They hadn't seen each other for so long. And everything had changed in the amount of time they had been away from each other. The Hogwarts days were over. And Sirius who had been lovers with James' for so long felt as though he had to compete with little Lily Evans who would never love James.
"I'm sorry." James said "It's just Lily, besides she played me. I only have eyes for you."
He crashed his lips hard against Sirius' and the look on his face told James that it might be ok now.
"Get Off Me!" Sirius screeched at James.
"I'm done with you." He may not have been able to distance himself physically at that moment but he had already put up the emotional barrier.
"I know it's hard to believe, but I do have honor" Sirius said smoothly to James. Despite that he had disgraced the Black family in so many ways; he still had his honor and pride.
"But Sirius" James pleaded with him. Sirius pushed James up against the wall and began to kiss him. The two crashed through the window breaking the glass around them but they didn't care.
"Let's run away together, Moony and Wormtail never have to know." James said gleefully. The light in his eyes made it all worthwhile. They got on the boat by the lake, and rowed to the center as the moonlight danced around them. Illuminating the Thunder around them as the sparks flew. And James fell asleep in Sirius's arms while he smoothed over James' black hair.
"Oh James, this is the way it should be." Sirius whispered softly.
