A/N: Day dreaming again….The class was so boring, though. I have enough time to think a lot of crazy stuff and I have to write it all down, because if I don't, my head will explode! Take place after Arya refused Eragon (so sad, wasn't it?...). Extremely random!
Disclaimer: I own nothing, but I will soon XD.

Alone sitting on a bench, his hands went blue from gripping to tight on the material, he kept waiting….for nothing. A shadow loomed over him, he didn't even look up.
"Eragon…"-The figure sat down beside him.-"You know it will happen."
"But I can't stop myself, Saphira." –Eragon murmured.-"But just imagined: You jumped dowm a pit without knowing the depth of it."
For a long time, Eragon was waiting for her reaction, but Saphira kept silent. Finally, she said:
"Maybe I will stuck down there forever, but I will never given up hope. Because I know, on the cliff which seems so high above me, my partner will always be there, finding a way to rescue me, even though it'll be nearly impossible."
Eragon lift his head to look at th enormous sapphire dragon. Saphira was still very young, but somehow, she was wise. He smiled, tears still formed in his eyes:
"Thank you, Saphira"
"You're welcome."-Saphira smiled back at him.
"About you and Glaedr…."-Eragon scratched his head, feeling extremely awkward. But to his surprise, Saphira remained calm, but serious all the same.
"We weren't mean for each other, that's all."
"But you can change the relationship, though. It might take us a great deal of time to free Thorn and the last egg, so they're not quite your future mate. I think it's Glaedr, even though he denied your love once….People will change, sooner or later, Saphira."
Saphira turned her head away from him. Both of them looked thoughtfully. She sighed:
"I don't have enough courage to show my love to him….He might pissed off again."
"Just try, show him how miserable you are!" –Eragon exclaimed.
"Eragon how could you…."-Saphira laughed silently, shaking her giant head.- "How childish you are…..But yeah, I'll try."
Eragon grinned happily. Saphira just sighed at her little Rider.

Time passed, and the battle of Gilead happened, bring Glaedr away from Saphira before she could express her feeling towards the golden dragon. But there was no reason to mourn, because, she once told Eragon, she will never given up hope. She knew, as long as Alageasia still exists, so will her race. She will find her mate, and once in centuries, the new era of dragons will begin.
