'Oh, I love this house.' I murmur as I wake up. The soft bed, warm blankets, and plush pillows are making it hard for me to get out of bed. The smell of fresh bread from the kitchen is enough to get me moving, and the thought of seeing Peeta. We live in the same house, but he doesn't want us to sleep in the same room because "it wouldn't be proper". I believe that it is because he still has a thing for Katniss, but I am quite happy to get to see him every minute of the day if I wanted. Then again, as much as I say that Peeta's lifelong interest in Katniss doesn't worry me, it does worry me a lot.

He's with me, not her, I say to myself as I walk down the stairs, pausing at the mirror to fluff my hair. I turned into the kitchen and saw the fresh loaf of bread on the counter. I picked up a slice of soft, warm bread, I heard a soft snoring coming from the living room and I peeked around the corner. Peeta is asleep on the couch, so I quietly walked out of the house.

Walking out to the meadow is always peaceful, especially this morning. The grass in the meadow is extremely soft, and the wind in the trees past the fence is gentle and relaxing. I sat down next to a patch of primroses and I began gazing off into the woods. Sudden movement in the woods caught my eye and I dropped to my stomach so that I wouldn't be seen. Katniss and Gale emerged from the forest, laughing. Oh, this is going to be good! All of a sudden, Gale pulled Katniss in and kissed her. Wait… kissed her? This is going to be so good! I crawled out of the meadow and then started to run back to the Victor's Village. I slammed the door and leaned up against it, panting. Peeta woke up quickly. 'What's wrong?' he said.

'Peeta, I've got something to tell you about…' I said slyly.
