"Sol! Wait up!" I bound down the hallway and into the zero g room. I skid to a stop at the door barely shaming into the wall. Pearl trudges over. Her rainbow braids frizzing out in all directions. I shove open the door with my shoulder. The room is stark white with only a screen and a door at the other end. "Zero gravity activated." Says a metronome voice. The door unlocks and we float into the chamber. Bobcat is jumping on the ceiling as always. I lose balance for a second and go hurling into the far wall breaking the glass that covers the off button. Pearl and I end up on our faces while Bobcat comes hurling down. He hits the floor. "What was that for Solstice!" He exclaims. Then I get a pair of knuckles to the face.
I wake up in the infirmary with Kat hovering over me. "You ok?" She asks. "Yes," I say sarcastically. "I'm doing great after I got a fist to the face." One of her blue curls falls into her face. "Ok, ok, you're not ok!"
After School
"Dude! What the h*** was that for!" Lance yells. "You're not allowed to curse ya big dummy." I yell, kicking him in the shins. "If you don't want me to kick you then stop cursing."
