Hi Everyone,
This is the 1st Fanfiction I wrote and was going to make it a long one, but I realised that it was just not what I needed so I turned it into a one-shot. If you would like to read a slightly longer story check out 'Lean On Me - a harry potter story' and it may be more your cup of tea...Please Enjoy!
I saw Harry's limp figure drag himself into the forbidden forest. "Harry!" I croaked. Hastily he turned around, his wand outstretched, ready to fight off any Death Eaters. As his gaze fell on me, his contorted face relaxed, and he lowered his wand from me. "Ginny," he whispered. I lunged forward and enfolded him in a rib cracking hug. "What are you doing here?" he asked. His face was covered in dried blood, and I was overwhelmed with a sudden urge to remove all the horrors from his past, but I knew I couldn't. "Looking out for you." I replied to his question. He gave me a lopsided grin. "Where are you going?" I interrogated him. He sighed heavily, and I could tell that it was killing him to tell me this. "To meet Tom." He heaved. "No!" I shrieked. "Why would you ever do that?" He opened his mouth to answer my rhetorical question, but I ranted on. "Harry please don't leave me. I can't live without you. Please." I pleaded with him, begging him to explain to me. "A part of Voldmort lives inside of me. I am the 7th Horcrux that he never meant to make." He replied. A single tear trickled my pale cheek, taking in the burden. I knew nothing that I could say would change his mind. "I love you." I told him, kissing him. "I love you too. At least your beautiful face will be the last thing I see before I kick the bucket!" he exclaimed in a false cheery tone. "Goodbye Harry James Potter." "Goodbye Ginevra Molly Weasley" "I love you" we both said simultaneously. He headed off towards the direction of the forest.
It was then it hit me. I would never see him again. The man of my dreams was going off to die. I broke down, tears cascading down my cheeks.
