I have had a lot of time to think how to start this story. Maybe how the turtles came to be in this situation, or even when they first came to the Forest of Zan. But since this is a romance story it came to me, Hey why don't I start it out with a random turtle and his mate. It sounded good to me so, here you are. I hope you like it! I sadly do not own them.
Prologue
A gun was pointed at me as I stood in front of them, making sure nothing happened to my family. "Move turtle," the man hissed. I growled in response taking a defensive stance. "I'm not going to tell ya again turtle," I herd the gun click making me flinch at the sound.
"No." My voice was deep and cold. The man seemed surprised that I could talk.
"M-move freak," He spat the words trying to hide the fear that dwelled deep inside of him.
I gave a ruff chuckle, "Leave."
"Move," The man tensed when I shifted positions from defense to attack. My name was called from behind me and I shut my eyes making the oncoming tears disappear. The man moved his gun and I followed the line of sigh. It was pointed right at her. A growl ripped its way threw my throat and I let my anger show in my features. "D-don't move turtle, or I'll blow her head off."
She called my name again and my body shook from all my anger. She started to scream my name and I felt her teary eyes on me.
"Shut up bitch!" The man barked orders making my dropped gaze fix on him.
"What did you call her?" I hissed making him tense even more. He didn't respond and his eyes grew pink. An evil smirk crossed my face, "You don't want me to get upset…do you?"
"S-shut up," His gun shook in his hands. The smirk grew into a diabolical smile and an evil laugh shook the trees that surrounded me. She whispered my name in fright making my heartbreak but I kept up the foolish act. "Be QUIET!" The man shouted. My spine chilling laugh slowed down to a malevolence chuckle and I dropped my head. Darkness coved my eyes making the man take a step back. The cracking of wood made me look up into the tree line. Two figures stood in the shadows. One had a hand in front of the other and I herd them speak.
"See, I knew he was crazy! Didn't I tell you?" The smaller figure whispered grabbing hold of the others shoulder.
"Shut it!" I snarled at the figures then turned my gaze back to the man that shook like a leaf. "So," I stepped forward smirking again, "Ya want ta kill me?" My voice seemed much deeper and I felt the hidden eyes grow wide. "Well here is your chance," my arms opened wide letting him take a clear shot to my heart. My name was again called from her but it seemed scared beyond all that I have herd from her before.
"I don't get paid enough for this," the man whispered aiming for my chest. His gun shook as he fixed a hold onto his target.
"Don't do this PLEASE!" She shouted trying to get off the ground. She once again shouted my name and I ignored it with a deep growl.
The man pulled slowly on the trigger and dust filled the air as a loud shrieking sound ripped threw the trees. I expected to feel pain right away but nothing happened for seconds.
One of the figures shouted someone's name making me close my eyes. A light cry came from behind me, though I did not turn to see who it was. The man stood there shocked as my eyes grew thin. He started off running. I let him run for a few seconds before I felt my legs spread apart, letting me go off in a full run. The man didn't get far, within a few seconds he was dead. Hid blood swam onto my feet. I took steeps away from him letting the old leaves stick to my feet. I quickly ran back to my mate hoping for luck to be on my side. I let my heart pound against my chest as I slid next to her. She looked up from her crouched position holding her stomach. Fear clumped in my throat as tears silently slid down my cheeks. She whispered my name smiling silently.
"N-no," I breathed out. Lifting her hand up a dark red hole sat right next to her side. "The baby?" I asked. She just shook her head making me bring her into a deep embrace. Now the two figures that hid in the shadows are standing above me, letting there sad gaze fall.
I saw the small figure bring her hands up to cover her eyes, the bigger figure pulled her into a big hug. A voice spoke that seemed so familiar, "I'm so sorry bro."
I brought my head up to meet the eyes of my brother, I breathed out his name in disbelief.
He smiled shaking his head, "Ya it's me."
I had pressed my hand against my mates wound making the bleeding come to a slow stop. I sat on the ground holding my wife close to me, she had deep and shuttering breaths. My brother and the other figure stood watch over me not speaking for an hour.
"Do you know where the others are?" I asked making him look up.
"Last time I saw them, they where standing together looking shocked."
My eyes closed tight, this would have never happened if we didn't go out that night. Eleven months ago.
Well there you are my first part of my first romance/adventure story.
