What happened in the Gryffindor common room the night that Harry got Slughorn's memory. (Third person part view)

This is a short one shot that has been in by mind for a while and that I finally got around to writing and posting.

The storyline and some of the words come form J. K. Rolling and sadly I am not she.

Fight Night"What were you doing up there with her?" a shrill shriek from Lavender Brown pierced the steady babble of Gryffindor common room.

All of its occupants turned to see Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger emerging alone from the boys' dormitories.

"I…um…well…" Ron tried to explain.

At that moment the portrait hole opened and his sister Ginny's annoyed cry drifted into the room, "Don't push me, please, Dean, I can get through perfectly well on my own…" and joined Lavender's cry of, "ANSWER ME RON, WHAT WHERE YOU DOING WITH HER."

Ron kept on stuttering as if he was trying to think of an excuse while Dean Thomas angrily retorted to Ginny, "What do you mean push you I didn't even touch you."

"YOU'RE CHEATING WITH HER AREN'T YOU…ADMIT IT." Lavender continued to rage as Ginny started to yell, "YES, YOU DID, I'M SICK OF IT, I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF."

Ron still didn't respond as Dean retorted, "FINE THEN, IF YOU DON'T NEED ME LEAVE."

At Dean's words Ginny stormed to the doors of the girls Dormitories and yanked them open before slamming them behind her. "WERE DONE…DONE." Lavender yelled before opening the still shaking door and slamming it behind herself.

After the door slammed for the second time the common room was filled with a tense silence for several long moments. Finally Hermione quietly said, "I'll…I'll check on Ginny," before quickly fleeing behind the other girls.

Ron solely moved to sit by the fire as Dean stood still in the silent common rom. Finally seeming to realize what had happened he ran to the boys' dormitory doors and disappeared behind them.

When the door clicked behind him the room erupted in noise discussing the last few minutes as if Ron wasn't there.

AN: Would anyone have been offended if I didn't catch where I called Lavender an it, would they? Ok then… I hope you enjoyed and don't forget to review.
