Wishful Thinking
One early morning, Kathryn Janeway awoke to an interesting site. She rubbed her eyes a few times, and could not believe what she was seeing. Outside of her window, their seemed to be a ray of sunshine, penetrating her bedroom. She grabbed her badge, and tapped it.
"Janeway to Chakotay, please respond."
"Chakotay here…"
"Commander I need your help with something." "I am witnessing something very unusual and I would like to get your opinion about it."
"On my way,"
"Chakotay to the captain-"
"Go ahead commander""
"What is your location?""
"My quarters and hurry you must see this!"
Chakotay rushed to Janeway's quarters. He went in in and he couldn't believe what he saw. "Chakotay, what do you think it is?" "I have never seen anything like it before, except…" She turned around slowly puzzled by Chakotays reaction to the phenomenon. But Chakotay was not starring at the same event; his eyes were only fixed on her.
"Chakotay are you ok?" She walked over to where he stood. Then it dawned on her. She looked down. The only thing that she was wearing was a see-through camisole.
Feeling embarrassed she ran to the bed to pick up a blanket. But before she could reach it a hand touched the small of her back. It slowly ran up her spine, and then stopped. Chakotay whispered to her, "You're the most beautiful women I have ever seen." Janeway turned around but Chakotay was gone.
Kathyrn sat up in bed. Her eyes immediately turned to the window. The stars were passing by at a rapid pace. "It was just a dream". She began to laugh at herself. "Sometimes I can be very foolish"
She began getting ready for her shift. When she got on the bridge, she was happy to see Chakotay setting in his chair.
"Captain". "Good Morning Chakotay"
Kathryn sat down next to him. He looked at her and turned. "How did you like that strange phenomenon last night?" Janeway immediately turned to him. "How did you know about that"?
Chakotay looked at her and gave her a deep witty smile. "You have to wear that again sometime for me." Janeway put her hands over her face to keep from blushing.
