Ron knew that he had caused what had happened. And he ran from the problem, so it was his fault, technically, that he was in this predicament. He knew how much Hermione had loved him, and he had taken advantage of it. He knew now what he had to do.

She no longer would take his dreams with her, he would make sure she never left him again. He would change everything for her. "I'm sorry." It was all that was needed, and she started crying. He just held her, and prayed they could get over this.

Never again would they have to say goodbye forever. She was the one for him. He slipped the diamond band on her finger, and kissed her.
