Connie creped stealthily towards the bedroom, her hand laden with whipped cream, and Salvador, her blue pointed Persian, safely clasped in her arm. Her eyes glimmered with mischief as she sat on the bed next to a snoring Mike, oblivious to his surroundings.
Connie shook the aerosole can vigorously, before leaning over Mike and squirting a dollop of cream on his clean shaven cheek, a playful grin plastered across her face. She covered her mouth, struggling to contain her laughter.
She picked up Salvador, who had settled peacefully at the end of her bed. He grumbled, annoyed that his enthusiastic owner had disturbed him. She placed his stocky little body next to Mike, pushing his face in front of the dollop of cream, which he instantly licked clean.
Connie watched as Mike stirred slightly, his voice hazy in what otherwise appeared to be a blissful slumber.
"Mmmmm, Connie, you sure know how to get a guy up in the morning," he said in a soft murmur, rolling onto his other side. "Since when did you have such a rough tongue?"
He then felt what seemed like sharp claws kneading into his shoulder, his eyes widening, startled by the small cat's nestling into him. "Ugh."
"Aw Mike, he likes you," Connie exclaimed. "That's a first. My other boyfriends always scared him off."
Mike looked at her incredulously, and slightly hurt. "Other boyfriends?" He sniggered playfully. "My, my, Ms Rubirosa, there's so much I don't know about you."
"Yeah, especially since my latest ex was actually a girlfriend," she said deadpan.
Mike's eyebrows arched in confusion.
Connie bumped him lightly in good humour with her boomerang shaped pillow. "No need to feel threatened, Mike. I bet you're much better at pillow fights than her."

AN: In regards Mike having moved to SVU, I'm so for shipping a Cutter/Benson pairing, I could so see these two sharing a box of donuts in bed! What do you all think?
