It's been a while since Obi-Wan Kenobi has been on Geonosis. And there he was, back on the battlefield, fighting for his life.

"Commander Cody!" he said into his wrist com as he dove behind a rock, "what's the status?"

"We're hanging in there, General Kenobi," Cody said, "what about you and Rex?"

"The ambush is coming at us hard." Obi-Wan replied.

"Copy that, General!" Cody said and dispatched from Obi-Wan.

Kenobi jumped out of his only cover, only to get knocked down roughly by a Super Battle Droid.

He grunted as he struck the ground, his head striking a rock.

The droid was about to blast him when the droid got shot by Rex.

"You alright, General Kenobi?" the Clone Captain asked as he helped him up.

"Huh? Oh, yeah." Obi-Wan murmured.

"You uhh...you dropped this, General." Rex said, giving Obi-Wan his Lightsaber.

Obi-Wan smiled, grabbing his weapon. "Thank you, Captain."

The two rushed back into battle, though Kenobi's head was pounding still.

A droid knocked Obi-Wan down, but the Jedi stood back up and sliced the droid in half, staggering back a bit.

"General Kenobi," Rex said and ran over to him while blasting droids, "are you sure you're alright?" The Captain sounded worried.

"Positive, Rex." Obi-Wan muttered.

Soon the droids were destroyed.

"We should move forward if we are to meet with the others, Captain." Obi-Wan murmured walking over to him, his head not hurting as much but it was still pounding.

Rex nodded, the tanks ready.

Obi-Wan jumped up on one as the started to move.

Soon enough, Obi-Wan saw something in the distance.

He held up his hand and closed it into a fist and the tanks stopped.

Rex appeared next to him on the tank. "Did you see something, sir?"

Obi-Wan nodded and handed him the bionoculars.

"Separatist Clankers!" the Captain growled.

One of the enemy tanks aimed at Kenobi's tank and fired.

He jumped off at the same exact moment the tank exploded, falling with a grunt.

He looked up and saw the Clones in front of him...

Protecting him.

"General Kenobi!" Rex shouted from the other side of the crumbled wall. "General! Can you hear me?"

Part of the wall had fell onto Obi-Wan.

His eyes flew open and he used the Force to throw the ceiling off.

He had grew weak.

"General!" Rex's urgent voice came again.

"Ugh," Kenobi groaned. "I-I'm fine."

Suddenly, the wall blocking the Clones from the Jedi Knight exploded.

A large piece of ceiling hit Obi-Wan sqare in the chest and sent him flying back until he struck a wall.

The Jedi Knight fell to the ground, the ceiling piece falling on him and got the breath knocked out of him.

I'm too weak... Obi-Wan thought breathlessly.

"General!" he heard Cody scream as him and Rex ran over.

The two got the ceiling off of him and got him up.

Then, droids came.

"Waxer! Boil!" Cody shouted. "Cover us so we can get General Kenobi back to the ship!"

Waxer and Boil nodded. "Yes, sir!"

Obi-Wan snapped back to reality to the sound of bombs going off.

When he stood, a Commando Droid blasted him in the shoulder.

Kenobi screamed in pain, falling to his knees and clutched his shoulder.

Cody looked at Gunner. "Rookie! Go protect the General!" the Commander ordered.

Gunner nodded and raced over to Kenobi, blasting droids.

Where's Anakin when I need him? Obi-Wan thought in pain.
