The halls of the DWMA were filled with sad students who were silently mourning the death of Soul. Teachers were sitting at their desks, slouching and had their hands on their heads wondering how they could've prevented the death. Female teachers were sobbing, not knowing how they could continue teaching. Meisters and weapons alike would hug each other and tell each that they are thankful to be alive.
In one particular part of Death City, would be a girl laying on the top of her cold and skinned weapon. Her emerald eyes would be fixed on his torn jacket. Her light brown hair, covered her ears and there on his chest would lie her hand. Tears battered on the orange coat while her dear and closest friends were standing on a pillar connected to a complex building. They were all frowning at the sight of their heartbroken friend. The little girl has entered her fourth day of laying there, wearing the ring that he gave to her and having nothing to eat or drink.
"We should go say something to her, seeing her like this makes me want to lose to god, not surpass him."
The blue, spiked haired meister said to the group.
"No, she deserves to be alone."
The black and white haired reaper whispered to the blue hair, his two weapons looked at him and behind the group was a purple cat, struggling to climb her way up the building.
"Finally, trying to get up here as a cat is a pain in my tail."
The cat flopped her arms and legs onto the chilly rooftop. The once laughing sun turned into a frowning moon. Not a single sound came from the dim moon. It seems like everything that had life was in distress, torn from its used-to-be happy self. The purple at got an idea as a lightbulb would appear above her small black hat. She walked toward the direction of the saddened girl. Her hind legs would act like a spring and she would land onto the ground like a tumbling tire.
The cat then walked next to the girl. Nuzzling her head into the girls side, a hand holding a book rose from the girl like a buried zombie, hoping to escape the dirt prison.
"Maka..."
The cat sighed as the incoming book fell down like a flyswatter, but halted above the hat. The girl growled at the response from the cat.
"If you're not here to end my pain, go away Blair.
Her response crackled like a mad lightning storm and echoed into the cats head. The cat would turn around to look at the almost crying group, she was also crying herself. She motioned her head to tell the others to come, they acknowledged.
One by one, the group made their way to the saddened girl. They all had sighed due to the appearance of their close friend.
"Maka?"
One of the twin weapons said, the younger one frowned as she stood next to her older sister.
"Go away, all of you."
"Hey, Maka. In case you didn't know, I'm not being my once boastful mood because of what happened with Soul. We're all hurt because of this, enjoy our company while you can."
If there were a pile of books next to the girl, you could imagine that all of their faces would be red from the outline of the book. They all just stood around the girl, not knowing what they could do to cheer her mood up.
