AN: Hello, DragonSiren7 here with my remake of the Ender's Game novel. As such, anything stated in book 2 and 3 shall be completely and totally disregarded. In this story, I am introducing an OC (other character) into the novel. Many chapters shall be the same. This is simply abrief intro into the story; the next chapter should be up either this weekend or over Thanksgiving Break, depending on my school schedule! Please enjoy this introduction, it will be Graff and Anderson conversing.

Prologue
"Have we decided on a child?"
"That's the problem. We cannot."
"Why not? The buggers are coming-"
"Tell me something I don't know! The problem is they have the same intellect, yet the girl..."
"Saida Drahkon?"
"Yes, her. It's as if she is filtering her own thoughts and preventing us from picking up on them! There are gaps - minutes of silence."
"Then do both."
"Both?"
"Yes, let Battle School be the final test. Make them enemies so that they can hone the others skills, then unleash one of them on the buggers."
"That might just work... if she doesn't find out."
"We must take risks, you know that just as well as me."
"Yes, if the cost of the risks is less than what might be earned in returned. This time, though, I'm not sure."
"Come now, she is just a little girl."
"For now - until we make them monsters."
"Until then."
"Until the End of the World."
AN: Yes, I know just having dialogue is confusing and boring, so I promise that the next one will be much longer, with much more detail, etc. Also, I will include a line break if you don't want to re-read the first chapter or so of Ender's Game, since nothing is changing on Ender's side until he meets Saida on the shuttle to Battle School.
