A/N: Hey guys! I am just so excited this week! I'm getting a new puppy this weekend, and on top of that there's almost a month until Awakening comes out on DVD! Ah, any way, this is how I think Eve's birthday will go! Enjoy, let me know what you think in reviews!

It was January 31st,2015-Eve's Birthday-It had been less than two months since Eve and her parents had escaped from Antigen, and Michael and Selene have been doing the best that they can to make sure that their little girl is happy and spend as much time as possible with her before the new baby comes, Selene and Michael had decided to throw a party, to celebrate that she had survived to even see twelve, the whole coven knew Eve, had she remained at Antigen, would have been dead by now. (A/N: What else was Antigen going to do to her?)

Ever since escaping she had begged her parents for a pet of some sort, Michael seemed okay with the idea since once the baby got here she would want some company, but Selene didn't, it wasn't that she hated animals it was just the whole idea of a pet around vampires and lycans wasn't her cup of tea. She was getting ready for the party when in walked her parents, Eve immediately stood up, she was wearing an elegant dark blue gown, similar to her mothers who's was black, her hair was up in a bun and she was wearing diamond hair clips.

"Mother, father, i'm almost ready, i'm just_" Eve started, but Michael put up a hand to silence his daughter.

"Evie, honey, we're not here to rush you, we just want to give you your birthday present" he told her, she nodded and Selene left the room, only to come back a moment later with a box, with holes in it. Eve took the box and cautiously opened it, she gasped at what she saw, in the box was the cutest little puppy she had ever seen, it was an airedale terrier.

"Thanks! I love it!" she took the puppy out and sat him on her bed.

"You're lucky I had to convince your mother" Michael said.

"Hey! I was attacked by one of my father's hunting dogs when I was seven! Can you blame me for not wanting a dog?" Selene asked, finally speaking up, Eve and her father laughed.

"Well, maybe that's because you tried to use it as a pillow and it didn't like cuddling" Michael laughed again, Selene glared.

"Come on, the party starts soon!" Selene said, looking back at Eve.

"By, Rhett" she told the puppy and walked down the grand staircase. This was a birthday that Eve would never forget.

A/N: For any one who is actually thinking of getting a dog, I highly recommend the airedale, they're hypoallergenic and don't shed, they are great family dogs and protectors. I have one and i'm getting another one, truly great dogs, if you want to see what the puppy looks like, it's my profile picture!
