Prologue

The girl slowly slipped into bed and snuggled under the covers, trying to keep warm. As she stared at the darkened ceiling she began to feel oddly dizzy. Everything suddenly went dark and she felt a tugging sensation in the middle of her chest. The girl started began to panic. What was happening? Was she dying? Why was this happening to her? The girl disappeared from the room. The girl was spinning through complete darkness until the wind let her go. She slammed into the hard ground and winced in pain.

"Open your eyes, my dear girl." a coarse voice echoed through the room. The girl's eyes flickered open. She found herself in an extremely tall circular room surrounded by huge bronze doors. It was fairly dark in the room except for a pair of golden eyes. A look of terror washed over the girl's face.

"Please don't hurt me!" screamed the girl as she crawled to the wall opposite of the glowing eyes.

"I didn't bring you here to hurt you. You brought yourself here. I am merely the master of the doors to your dreams." The eyes traveled to the center of the room where a single ray of light shown down. A tall man appeared wearing a white toga. His face was gaunt; eyes sunken into his skull. He was petrifyingly creepy yet completely beautiful at the same time. The girl seemed to become less tense at his appearance. The girl started to lift herself off the cold ground.

"So this is my dream?" the girl questioned. Her eyebrows knitted together as she looked up at the man.

"In a way I suppose yes; this could be a dream. I can't completely explain to you why you've been brought here at the moment. All I can tell you is you must choose a door. It will bring you to a fictional place; a place you've either read about or seen in a movie. They are coming! Go, now! You must escape. If they get past me, you have to keep going through the doors until you reach the exit. I will send someone to help you later on." The man's expression was urgent. The girl seemed to understand and opened the nearest door. The girl disappeared and transported into the image that shown through the door- a desert.

I'm not sure what I think of this...should I continue?
