Pissed
Sam was pissed, not the drunken kind of pissed, but the if you don't shut up i'll ram this item up your ass sideways kind of pissed. It was not what you might expect, no one was pestering her for a ridiculously simple answer to a so called 'important' question, or ignoring her when she was trying to tell them something 'end of the world' important. She was dead. Floating above the remains of her body, with Oma Desala whining in her ear about the benefits of ascension (most importantly the not being dead part). It was not even the fact that Oma wouldn't shut the hell up that annoyed her to the brink of twitching.
It was the fact that, despite having just witnessed his girlfriend just hurled across the street - by a manic lady with crazy hair and a strange device on her hand screaming about kneeling before her – Pete "I'm a potato head" Shanahan was whining to the medics that his back hurt. That inconsiderate bastard hadn't even checked to see if she was still alive (which she wasn't), instead he was completely ignoring the fact that 3 SGC medics were trying to revive her and trying to get something for his bloody back!
Samantha Carter, a woman who was not normally known for being angry or annoyed easily, could feel rage building up inside her as her 'boyfriend' was actually flirting with the female medic despite standing less than half a meter away from the corpse of his girlfriend.
When the medics failed to revive her badly beaten body and retreated to their ambulance all Pete did was glance at her body, shrug and turn after them. This was the last straw, she'd had enough, she was going to make the rest of his life a living hell if it was the last thing she did. Turning back to Oma she said: "alright i'll ascend if you tell me one thing, when you're ascended, you can come back and visit people right?..."
