If you see some lower cased words that should be uppercase it wouldn't let me edit them! Kalos confuses me...you get to have kanto starters in the game but not in the anime! So it's a little of both!

On with the story!
It was early morning of 10 year old Katerina and she was up early due to the excitement of her adventure that awaited her but what she hated the most as the fact her next door neighbor Isaac was going to be a trainer too. Granted Isaac was a friend of hers, he always taunted her when people were around which made her reconsider her friendship with him.
"Now do I just get Kalos starters or both Kalos and Kanto starters? Does the professor even have kanto starters?" wonders Katerina at 4am.
"Katerina! Get to bed!" calls her mom from downstairs.
"I did sleep! Honest! I just woke up before the alarm!" calls Katerina back.
"It may be good for you to keep up with whatever it is you do...but being too prepared can get you to a point where you lose track of which you were doing!" says her mom walking into the bedroom.
"I dont organize anything! I go at my own pace and make sure everything is done in a calm non rushed manner unlike some people who procrastinate!" says Katerina.
"I see! In other words you do your creative thing but forget about it and move onto another! No wonder why you never finish your stories! haha!" says her mom.
"Hey! I have lots on my mind!" says Katerina. "Just try not to be sleepy when getting your pokemon!" says her mom and leaves the room.
that morning...
It was a beautiful sunny morning and katrina was out walking minding her own business when she saw isaac walk up to her.
"Race you to the lab worry wort!" says Isaac. "
"I am not! I just have lots of things to do that I lose track of what I was on!" says Katerina.
"Whatever! If your mind zones out then you cant have Pokemon!" says Isaac.
"I can too!" says Katerina.
"Whatever you say!" says isaac and takes off to the lab.
"WAIT FOR ME!" yells katerina and takes off after him.
once at lab...
"Professor! Why does this worry wort never doing till the end writer girl get to have a pokemon! Shes forgetful!" says Isaac.
"I AM NOT! LAY OFF!" yells Katerina.
"Its a waste of time." says Isaac.
"Calm down! Im only one professor! Now Kalos starter or Kanto starter?" says sycamore.
"You can get kanto starters?" wonders Katerina.
"Well...in a way it can be possible if I ask professor oak!" says Sycamore.
"AWESOME! I was gonna pick Fenniken but it be nice to have a starter from another region!" says Katerina.
Professor Sycamore chuckles and calls professor Oak.
20 secs later...
"Hello? Im busy right n...SYCAMORE! Ash has told me about you!" says Oak.
"I see...hes such a chatterbox but hes always there for others!" says Sycamore.
"Haha! What did you want?" wonders Oak.
"The kids want a Kanto pokemon!" says Sycamore.
"Do you have any at your lab?" wonders Oak.
"No, all i have are the Kalos starters!" says Sycamore.
"I see...hopefully they get to you!" says Oak and sends Squirtle bulbasaur and Charmander one at a time through the transporter.
Minutes later...
"Got them!" says Sycamore after a couple seconds each time one appeared.
"Anything else?" wonders Oak.
"Not really!" says Sycamore.
"Alright! Hopefully they go to good loving trainers!" says Oak.
Call ends.
Silence filled the air.
"Sorry about that kids! What starter would you like?" wonders Sycamore sending out the pokemon from their pokeballs.
"I want charmander!" says Katerina. "Squirtle would beat Charmander but bulbasaur can wrap his vine whip around anyone and fling them into the sky!" ponders Isaac. "Haha I guess you can put it that way!" says Sycamore.
"Bulbasaur for me!" says Isaac.
"i guess we are rivals!" says Katerina.
"As if we were ever friends worry wort! HAHAHA!" says Isaac and leaves.
"why that little good for nothing..."
Katerina growls.
"What about your starter?" calls out Sycamore.
"Oh! Sorry im so pumped to beat Katerina that I almost forgot about my pokemon!" says Isaac.
"As if!" says Katerina annoyed.
"alright miss yells at everyone after being confronted! dont go crying to Sycamore if you lose!" says Isaac.
"Theres this kid from Kanto thats roaming around! You may spot him!" says Sycamore handing Katerina Charmander and Isaac Bulbasaur.
Katerina walked out of the lab and sent out Charmander.
"Welcome to your new home little buddy!" says Katerina.
"Char?" wonders Charmander.
"Wow amazing! I'll see you and your walking fire hazard later!" says isaac leaving.
"Hold it! Here are your pokedexes and pokeballs to start you off!" says Sycamore handing the two the objects.
"Like i said...fire pokemon are walking fire hazards!" says Isaac and takes off looking for pokemon.
"Char? Charmander?" wonders Charmander.
"Ignore him! Lets head off in search for more poke buddies!" says Katerina.
"Char!" says Charmander.
