Hey y'all, how's it going? Honestly, it occurred to me that, "is Elesis technically insane as a Crimson Avenger?" So, I'm just throwing this together as a thought to how I think her meeting with Elsword in case they didn't already meet way back when, so please enjoy! Disclaimer: I don't own Elsword.
"Now…rest forever in oblivion…."
"No!"
The rest of the Elgang rushed towards Elsword, who had braced himself for the killing blow. His life flashed before his eyes as he recalled the memory of his fight with Raven on top of the ship. Then Ara training with him. As well as meeting Rena at the El Tree. And finally, Aisha's kiss several nights earlier. But the memory that sat out the most.
"E-Elesis!?"
"Elsword!?"
"What are you doing here!?"
"I should be asking you!"
The elder Siegheart ran over to him, knocking him upside the head, surprising the entire Elgang as Elesis said, "I thought you were still training!"
Elsword grinned sheepishly, rubbing his head as he said, "W-well…Banthus kinda…robbed the El Tree so…yeah…."
"Don't, 'so yeah' me," Elesis said, knocking him again upside the head.
"Elsword," Ara asked, "may we know who this person is?"
Elsword turned towards the gang as Aisha ran over to give Elesis a hug. The two laughed it off as Elsword said, "This is Elesis…my older sister…."
"…Sis…ter…," the young Sheath Knight said as the demon's sword came down on him.
The sound of squirting blood filled the air as the Elgang watched on in horror.
Elsword kept his eyes closed, but didn't feel any pain. In fact, he was feeling anything far from the pain he wasn't already feeling. Slowly, he opened his eyes, immediately greeted by what looked like red hair flowing in the wind. He blinked in surprise, slowly looking up to see a strange looking sword, now covered in demon blood. His savior slowly turned around, her empty, golden eyes meeting his as he suddenly felt a twinge of horror.
"Ele…sis…," he breathed out.
Elesis stared down on her brother.
She blinked at him, quickly turning back to the demon, now with a stab wound in its chest as it reeled backwards with blood squirting out from it.
"I'll kill you all…," she said to herself, slowly walking towards it. Raising her sword, she muttered, "Blood for Blood."
Cutting herself, she suddenly disappeared, reappearing behind the demon, her sword glowing as blood spouted from the demon. Elesis slashed the blood from her sword, looking back ahead as she began walking away.
"Elesis!"
Elsword gripped the wound on his side as his sister turned around, albeit slowly. He shivered at the way her eyes looked at him. He swallowed his spit and asked, "Wh…what…happened…to you…?"
Elesis remained silent, blinking at him again. Deep within, she wanted to apologize to him. To embrace him and tell him that she was worried.
But she would have none of it.
"…I'll kill them all…," she replied, turning back away.
"Elesis!"
Elesis stopped at the sound of Ara's voice.
Turning back around, she looked at her best friend with empty eyes as the black haired girl stood in front of Elsword. Ara's eyes held a look of relief and confusion as Elesis turned back around, motioning to walk away yet again. However, Ara asked, "Where are you going?"
"…I'll kill them all…," Elesis repeated again. However, this time, Ara's arms wrapped themselves around Elesis, causing the elder Seighert to look down at them in annoyance. Ara dug her face into Elesis's back as she said, "I…I'm glad that you're safe, but…!"
"…Let go…," Elesis said in a dangerous tone.
Ara's eyes widened in sheer surprise as Elesis craned her head backwards and repeated, "Let go."
The black haired girl slowly released her, slowly backing off as Elsword's eyes widened in confusion. Was this truly his sister? The same sister that raised him? The same sister that pushed him to becoming a knight?
Elesis turned back around and walked towards Feita.
"Wait sis!"
"Master," Conwell suddenly said, "Watch out!"
This time, however, Elesis's sword found itself in his body and out his back. Elsword's eyes, as well as the others' eyes, widened in surprise as she yanked it out. Elsword fell on the ground, writhing and letting out a scream of pain as Elesis swung her sword clean of his blood. He looked back up to his sister, who kept her ominous golden eyes on him as she said, "Anyone who gets in my way…will die."
His eyes widened in shock as Elesis motioned to kick him away. The rest of the gang yelled for her to stop as he braced himself for one of her powerful kicks to the gut. Shutting his eyes shut, he cringed, holding the wound on his stomach.
But there was no pain.
Elsword cracked his eyes open, seeing that she had disappeared. Sitting up, he fought the pain as Aisha quickly casted a healing spell on him. His wound closed, but he felt betrayed.
His sister.
The one person whom he looked up to.
She had been changed.
By the demons.
It was then that he remembered the squad of knights that his sister had been in charge of had gone to fight some demons. However, he had been told that the squad had been attacked. There were no reported survivors.
But his sister was alive.
And looking for revenge.
"Wh…," he asked in confusion, "what…what happened…?
Back at the village of Elder, Luriel continued chatting with the many, many travelers that walked amongst the market. She continued chatting cheerfully amongst the people as the Elgang appeared amongst the crowd, catching her attention. Luriel gave a cheerful cry as she ran up to them, only for her look of happiness turn into a look of horror at the bandages that covered Elsword.
"Oh my gosh," she screamed, "What happened!?"
"Don't worry about me," Elsword replied, "What happened to my sister?"
"Elesis?"
Luriel cocked her head to the side out of curiosity as Elsword nodded. Aisha walked up behind him, wrapping her arm around his as Ara walked up behind him as well. She glanced away, then looked back at the blonde girl and said, "She…stabbed Elsword…."
"She what!?"
"Yeah," Ara continued, "Then she started mumbling, 'I will kill them all'…as well as turning a cold shoulder to me…."
"Whoa," Luriel said, putting her finger on her chin in curiosity. The group all stared intensely as Luriel closed her eyes, trying to focus. Then something along the lines of a lightbulb lit in her head as she said, "I think I know someone with answers."
"Allegro in Feita," she continued, reaching out for their map, marking its location on it, "He might know more about Elesis."
An audible scraping noise filled the air as Elesis dragged her sword along the ground in exhaustion. Sweat poured from her forehead as she gripped her bloody side, walking up to a demon that was dragging itself along the ground with its arms. It slightly turned back to face the red haired knight, its eyes wide with fear as she made her way to it.
With an audible "THUMP," Elesis raised her sword, the demon under her feet flailing in a futile attempt to escape as she raised her sword.
"…I'll kill you all…," she stated.
A shrill scream filled the air, followed by the sound of blood gushing out.
Wiping a drop of blood off her cheek, Elesis turned around to face the carnage of demon bodies that lay before her. The Dark El in her body began boiling as a chuckle cracked from her throat. She brought a hand up, letting it turn into a maniacal laugh that echoed into the distance.
"She…she…what…?"
Elsword couldn't believe what he had heard.
Allegro shook his head and said, "I honestly…can't believe it myself…."
"B-but," Ara half yelled, "Why would she absorb Dark El!?"
"Desperation."
They all turned to face Raven. He glanced at Add, who said, "Anyone desperate enough to live would absorb Dark El to gain tremendous strength."
Add smirked as Eve looked away in disgust. Aisha put her hand on Elsword's cheek, the boy still in shock. Ara fell to her knees in disbelief as Elsword brought Aisha into a hug. His eyes became watery as Allegro said, "We've decided to call her a Crimson Avenger."
Elsword turned back to him and asked, "Is…there anyway to get her consciousness back?"
Allegro shrugged and answered, "The only way would be to absorb whatever Dark El she has in her body…."
"I'll do it."
Aisha, Ara, and Rena's eyes all widened in shock as Elsword released Aisha. He turned to face Allegro and repeated, "I'll do it."
"Are you sure?"
Elsword perked up, hearing Conwell's voice.
"Yes," Elsword answered back, "If it'll save my sister."
"Elsword, don't!"
Aisha's arms wrapped around Elsword from behind. Elsword felt a pain in his heart as Aisha's voice began to shake. He didn't want to hurt Aisha. But to save his sister, he had to follow through with this.
"I'm…sorry Aisha…," Elsword said to her.
Ara was next with, "Don't 'I'm sorry' to her! We don't know what'll happen if you absorb Dark El!"
"Elsword," Rena spoke up next, "You don't have to do this! We'll find another way to save her!"
"No," Elsword stuck with his resolve.
Just then, Raven put his hand on Elsword's shoulder.
"Elsword," he said, "Let me do it."
Elsword raised an eyebrow at Raven as Allegro brought out a shard of Dark El.
"Here is the Dark El," he stated.
Add stared at it curiously. Eve kept a watchful eye on him, prepared to destroy the shard if he made any move for it. Raven took in a breath, reaching out for it.
However, the sound of the container the Dark El was in shattering filled the air.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock as Conwell precisely nailed the shard with the tip of its blade. Aisha's eyes widened in fear as Elsword smiled at her, turning around and kissing her. She remained frozen in disbelief as he said, "I'm sorry Aisha."
"I'm going to do it now, master," Conwell stated.
"If anything goes wrong," Elsword said to Raven, "Cut me down."
However, he wasn't listening. He was frozen in shock as well as Conwell began channeling the dark energy into Elsword's body.
Initially, there was no feeling at all.
Elsword blinked in confusion as he backed away from Aisha.
Then he felt it.
It felt like a million swords were stabbing into him as the dark energy began channeling into his veins. With a grunt, he doubled over in pain. He tensed his muscles as the group all drew their weapons, all prepared to fight their leader as the shard began slowly disappearing. All of Elsword's memories began racing through his memory as the pain was almost unbearable. He gripped his chest, feeling his heart about to burst as it began beating faster and faster. He then began clawing at the ground as the shard was about a third of the way done disappearing.
"I…," Aisha said, her eyes beginning to water. It hurt her to see Elsword doubled over in pain. Dark energy began swirling around him as he let out a scream of pain. She gripped her scepter harder as a tear managed to streak out of her eyes. She looked away and said, "I…can't watch…!"
Raven kept his hands on his sword as the shard disappeared to half.
Elsword let out another cry of pain as Conwell said, "Just a bit more, master."
"It…," he groaned out, "it's…too much…!"
"So then tell me, little boy…," a voice suddenly asked, "Why do you seek my power?"
Elsword cracked an eye open as he said, "I…want…to…protect…my friends…!"
"'Protect your friends' you say?"
"Yes…!"
"'Huhu…are you so sure?"
"What…!?"
"Are you positive you don't want to gain power to defeat your enemies? Or perhaps, for revenge? Or are you sure you don't want power just so you can have it, like so many demons have?"
"I'm not…a demon…!"
Conwell's absorption was two-thirds of the way done.
"You, little boy," the voice said, "Are pathetic."
"No…! You…are the…pathetic one…!"
"Oh? Humor me."
"You…use your power…for evil…I need your power…to…protect the ones I…LOVE!"
With that, Elsword let out a scream, the dark energy surrounding him disappearing.
The Elgang stared in awe at the new look Elsword had. His hair was spiked up, along with a small dark spot on his side burn. Conwell flew into Elsword's hand as another sword suddenly appeared in Elsword's other hand. He kept his eyes closed as he mentally said, "And that…is why I need your power."
"Huhu…very well. But."
Elsword raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Don't think…this is the last of me…."
With that, the voice faded away.
"El…El…sword…?"
Elsword opened his eyes, seeing the gang all staring at him. He then looked at the two swords in his hands, making Conwell disappear as he set the other claymore on his back. He then looked at Aisha, who had apparently approached him, albeit nervously. He blinked at her as she asked, "Are…are you…still…?"
He internally laughed as he pulled her into a hug, surprising her. She dropped her scepter, causing the rest of the gang to raise their weapons in case something went wrong. Elsword chuckled into her ear, causing her breath to hitch as he said, "Yes, Aisha…I'm still Elsword."
