Alex Russo was at school one day getting stuff from her locker. Once she slammed her locker, Gigi came by. "Hey Alexandra," she said.
"Hey! I don't like that name. You call me Alex or nothing. And that's final!" cried Alex.
"Shut up! I've been hearing rumors that you're a wizard," said Gigi.
"Well I'm not, so they're wrong," said Alex.
"Okay then. How about when your class is over, you come by my locker. I have a present for you," said Gigi.
"Oh... okay," Alex said nervously.
During science class, Alex was thinking about what Gigi was going to do. Until she heard a voice. "Miss Russo, are you asleep?" asked the science teacher.
"Oh, sorry. Let's just talk about science," said Alex.
"Yeah. I think that's a great idea, honey," said the science teacher.
When the bell rang, Alex walked by Gigi's locker with a scared look on her face. "Hello," said Alex.
"Oh! Now what?" asked Gigi.
"You said to come by your locker after 4th period," said Alex.
"Oh, so you listened. Let's switch places," said Gigi.
"Okay," said Alex.
Soon Gigi had a mean look on her face. "Oh no!" cried Alex.
"What? I'm just gonna beat you," said Gigi.
"AAH! Help me!" Alex shrieked and tried to run away.
Soon Gigi yanked Alex on her black hair. "Stay where you are!" she barked.
Then she beat up Alex until she was down. "Now get out!" she said.
Soon Alex went to her locker and started crying. Then Harper came by. "Alex, are you okay?" she asked.
"No! Gigi beat me up until I hit the ground," said Alex.
"Oh! She must have hit you hard. You're crying," said Harper.
"Can I have a hug?" asked Alex.
"Sure," said Harper.
Soon the two hugged and Harper stroke Alex's black curls. Then Gigi walked by them and pushed Alex while walking to language arts. "Baby," she said.
"Jerk!" Alex shot back, feeling a little bit better.
After school, Alex was walking home and was sobbing. "Alex, what happened? You're beat up. And you're crying," said Theresa.
"I know what happened," said Justin.
"Tell her, Justin. I can't talk about it," said Alex.
"Gigi was bullying her," said Justin.
"Oh!" cried Theresa, feeling bad for Alex.
"Justin, how do you know this?" asked Jerry.
"Harper told me," said Justin.
"Why did she beat you up?" asked Theresa.
"I don't know. I think it's because she heard rumors about me being a wizard, and I said everyone was wrong," said Alex.
"I think Gigi is a brat," said Max.
At school the next day, Alex brought her wand to school because she felt guilty about what happened the day before. "Hi Alex. I see your wand. I knew you were lying," said Gigi.
"I knew it! I knew that's why you beat me up yesterday," said Alex.
"That doesn't matter. I want your wand," said Gigi.
"But you need to be a wizard before you can take it," said Alex.
"Shut up," said Gigi taking the wand. "Hey! You wait until I tell Justin!" yelled Alex.
"Tell me what?" asked Justin.
"Justin, help! Gigi took my wand so she didn't have to beat me up," said Alex.
"Why did you take your wand to school?" asked Justin.
"Because I felt guilty about lying yesterday," said Alex.
"Take me to Gigi's locker," said Justin.
"Indeed I will," said Alex.
Soon Alex took Justin to Gigi's locker. "Give my sister her wand!" cried Justin.
"What if I don't? Is your mommy going to rescue you?" asked Gigi.
"No," said Alex.
"Then what?" asked Gigi.
"I know," muttered Alex.
"What?" asked Gigi angrily.
Soon Alex beat up Gigi. "Hey! Stop!" cried Gigi.
But Alex refused and Gigi fell to the ground. "Quick! Take the wand away from her!" cried Alex.
Soon Justin took the wand away from Gigi. "Now we're even," said Alex.
