I'm having writer's block for my other story….haha. Wanted to write a super short, fluffy one-shot. Here it goes…

It was a beautiful day in New York City, but there were two people that did not want to get out of bed. Castle and Kate had gone to bed late last night because they stayed up watching movies and just being together. As the sun rose and shone more brightly through the window, Castle groaned and tightened his grip around Kate's waist. He buried his face in the back of Kate's neck to both hide from the sun and inhale the light cherry scent that he loved. Kate giggled as she wiggle out of his grasp. Sherlock, their golden retriever, ran into the bedroom and jumped onto the bed. Castle groaned again as Kate turned to face him. "Morning, sunshine." She gave him a kiss before getting up and petting Sherlock. She walked into the bathroom to brush her teeth and get ready for the day.
Castle yawned while stretching on the bed and smiled as he heard the pitter patter of little feet running on the wooden floor toward his bedroom. "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Castle let out a grunt as his little daughter jumped on him.
"Good morning, sweetie." He gave her a kiss on the cheek before throwing her on his back and walking towards the kitchen while roaring and yelling, "I'm a hungry dinosaur!" The little girl giggled in delight as her father playfully tossed her in the air. Kate was leaning against the wall of the hallway and just watched them. He was a wonderful dad and husband. The smile on her face grew wider as she reminisced over her memories of the wedding, the purchasing of their sweet dog,the birth of her daughter, and countless others. While Rick and Johanna were having a tickle fight on the floor, Kate walked into the kitchen to make breakfast.
As she was stirring the waffle batter, she felt a pair of arms wrapping around her waist. Rick placed light kisses down her neck as she giggled and said, "I have to make these."
"I can help you."
"You tend to be more messy than helpful."
"Ouch." He smirked and placed a kiss on Kate's cheek before going back to Johanna and playing dolls with her.
Yep..that's it. Maybe I'll add more, but this will be listed as complete.
