Who are you?
(I know I stink at little one shots, but I had to try... Also keep in mind I wrote this at 3 in the morning after going to Cedar Point. Please R&R. C&C welcome.)
'Turn it inside out so I can see, the part of you that's drifting over me.'
Touya groaned and rolled over, expecting to find Yuki lying beside him. What he saw was large white wings on the other side of the room. "Yue?"
'And when I wake up you're never there. But when I sleep you're everywhere.'
For some reason the angel's appearances had become more frequent lately. He wondered why. Sakura was not in any danger. If she was, he knew that the angel would be with her, instead of standing in his bedroom.
'Just tell me how I got this far. Just tell me why you're here and who you are.'
'Well, why don't you ask? While you're at it, why don't you ask him everything you want to know?' A small part of him said.
"Yue, who are you?" For most people it would be a simple enough question to answer, however, Touya knew that for Yuki and Yue, it was one of the hardest questions someone could ask.
"Toya?" Touya lept back in surprise. Yue had taken his usual route with questions he didn't want to answer. He had transformed.
' Cause everytime I look, you're never there, but when I sleep you're always there.'
"Toya......." Touya sighed. He knew how the smaller boy felt about it when things like that happened. He pulled Yuki into his arms and stroked his hair.
' Cause you're everywhere to me.
And when I close my eyes, it's you I see,
and everything I know that makes me believe
I'm not alone. I'm not alone.'
Touya knew that Yuki was having a hard time adjusting to recent events. "Toya?"
"mm....yes, Yuki?"
"Do you think....... Do you think that I..... Do you think that I'm only Yue's false form?"
' I recognize the way you make me feel. It's hard to think that you might not be real.'
" Of course not!" Touya grabbed the pale, fragile looking boy by the shoulders. "You are a very unique person, and I love you." Touya could have sworn that Yuki's eyes flashed amethyst for a moment, looking, hurt? That made no sense....
'I sense it now. The waters getting deep I try to wash the pain away from me.'
Touya held the other boy in his arms until Yuki broke away. Touya looked at him. Yuki smiled. "Toya?"
And when I touch your hand, it's then I understand the beauty that's within.'
Touya blinked. "Yes Yuki?"
"Never mind."
Touya leaned in and held Yuki some more, then he tilted his head down and planted a kiss on Yuki's lips. But Yuki didn't want just one. When Touya broke away from the kiss, he realized that the body he was holding in his arms was not Yuki's. The hair was much too long for one thing.... Touya smiled.
"Toya?"
Once more, when he was thinking about Yue, Yukito was back. "Yeah?"
"Can we get some breakfast? I'm hungry....."
'Cause you're everywhere to me
