Festival Time
"This is going to be so cool! I wonder what people we're going to see." Melody said.
"Who knows, I haven't been to the festival either, but I know I'll have a great time with you." Pad kissed Melody on the forehead.
Melody blushed and kissed him on his forehead.
"I'm going to eat so much until I burst!"
"Okay, you do that while I win you a nice stuffed animal."
At the festival, Melody went to the many food stalls to check out what to eat.
"Wow! I don't know which stall to eat from first! The cotton candy looks so good…" Melody practically drooled at the sight of the confection.
"Okay, calm down. I'll buy everything tonight, my treat." Pad said behind her.
"Really? Thanks, Pad!" Melody hugged him so tight he could hardly breathe.
After hours of fun getting food from the stalls and playing the games, the couple was ready to go home.
They accidentally bumped into the Mayor of the town, and helped him up.
"We're so sorry! You're not hurt, are you?" Melody said.
"I'm fine, thanks. Nice to meet you, uh…" The mayor stammered.
"Melody and this is Pad, my husband." Melody gestured to the man beside her.
"How lovely, out on a romantic date, huh?"
"Yeah, it's been weeks since we got married and we wanted to do something fun together."
"Well, I hope you two have a wonderful evening!"
"Thanks! Hope you have a wonderful evening as well." Melody stated.
"That was so much fun, hope we can have more days like that." Melody put her head on Pad's shoulder. The man patted her head.
"Sure thing." Pad said.
