Harry Potter

The Fourth Son

Chapter One

Happy Eleventh

It was a nice and quiet evening in a small town. The village looked quite beautiful in fact, with the nice green lawn, to the nice paved road. Not a car was in sight, well why would any resident of this village need a car, they could just vanish in thin air and appear at their desired destination. To most it would be seen as an oddity, seeing a woman dressed in bright emerald green robes, but not in this small town, it was quite common in fact to see that. You see the residents of this village were witches and wizards.

And one such resident was famous. Not a famous person who is seen on TV or on morning talk shows, He was famous for an entirely different reason. You see this Wizard, was made famous from the day he was an infant,J and he grew up not even knowing that he was. That was until he was introduced to the Wizarding World, and when he went to school. You see not everyone can go to this school that he attended, if you were a muggle then you would not be going. But enough about that. You see this wizard was gained even further fame when at the age of only a year old, defeated the darkest of dark wizards. Many feared his name, This wizard went by Lord Voldemort, and the general public in fear of his name would rather call him You-Know-Who, or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Voldemort killed this wizard's parents and when he tried to kill this young wizard the curse rebounded and left the baby with a lightning shaped scar on his forehead, this ended the First Wizarding War. The wizard with the scar was named Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived. When Harry was seventeen he gained further fame for defeating the Dark Lord, and ending the Second Wizarding World. After this he settled down, married the girl with whom he was infatuated with when he was in school his sixth year, and married her. Her name was Ginny. Now they had three kids, James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Lily Luna Potter. The story doesn't follow them…No the story follows their fourth son….

There was the sound of footsteps as a middle aged man walked through the hallway of his house. He looked at each bedroom door as he made his way to the stairway leading down to the lower level of the house. Each room had a name plate on it. As he game to the final door he looked at the nameplate. It read:

Jason Evans Potter

The man smirked at the plate and went on his way to the stairs, He walked down the staircase and went through a doorway that lead to the kitchen. He saw his wife, busying herself with making breakfast. She looked up and brushed a few strands of her flaring red hair from her face. The man smiled and seemingly glided behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek.

"Good morning dear" she said with a smile "how did you sleep"

The man smiled and looked into her eyes as she looked at him.

"pretty good actually" he stated "I saw that you got everyone up"

His wife nodded. She pointed to the clock that hung on the wall of the kitchen. Now this was no ordinary clock. Each head of the clock had a picture of each resident of the house, and where the clock head was on a different part of the clock, some said The shop, one section said school, another Diagon Alley, and the last section said 'In Peril". Although the man never saw the clock hands ever go to that section, save the time their eldest son James, had gotten hurt in one of his quidditch matches.

"Harry" said his wife "I think you should go and wake him up, we don't want him to sleep through his special day now do we"

Harry nodded and gave his wife a small kiss on the lips before heading back to the stairs that led to the bedrooms.

"right you are Ginny" he said and walked up the flight of stairs.

Harry came to the door of his youngest and slowly opened it. He was always surprised when he walked into the room. For unlike his other brothers, his room was almost spotless. There was a bookshelf on the right side of the room, filled with nothing but different books, connecting to the shelf was a desk that was infront of a large window. On the desk was a small notebook, Harry noted it to be the boy's journal. He then looked to the other side of the room where his dresser was. The top of it was filled with picture frames, the photos in them were of numerous family functions and other photos of the boy. The boy in the picture smiled and laughed. Harry smirked and set down one of the photos back on the dresser. He walked to the bed that was at the back wall and sat down on the edge. He gently put his hand on the shoulders of the sleeping boy and shook it gently.

"Hey time to get up champ" he said "don't want to sleep the whole day away now do you"

The boy under the blankets shifted around and groggily sat up. His messy jet black hair was sticking up in all sorts of places. It was as if Harry was looking into a mirror of himsrlf from when he was his son's age. Well almost the same, all that were missing was his emerald green eyes, Jason took after his mother and had piercing blue eyes. The boy looked towards his bedside table and felt around for his glasses before finally finding them and placing them on his face.

"morning sleepy head" said Harry as he brought his sleep child into a hug

"Morning dad" yawned the boy as he hugged his father.

The boy sat against his pillows as he rubbed his eyes, getting the rest of sleep off of them and waking up. Harry got off of the bed as the boy got out of bed. Harry pulled out an envelope from his coat pocket and handed it to his son. Immediately the boy's eyes went wide. Harry could tell he was excited, from the way the young boy ran to his desk.

The boy looked at the letter excitedly. His eyes scanning the front of the letter.

Jason read the letter again before looking up to his father. His dad was leaning against the door frame a small smile on his face.

"Congrats Jason" he said "looks like you will be going to Hogwarts in September"

Jason nodded his head excitedly and jumped out from his chair. He ran out of the room and down the stairs, nearly tripping as he ran to the kitchen to show his mom his acceptance letter. Harry followed behind him, taking a seat behind the snack bar, as he watched his youngest son show Ginny his letter. He watched how she smiled and hugged him, telling him that he will do great there. Harry looked down at the daily prophet that laid on the snack bar and read the headlines. He read it before looking back up as Ginny placed a mug of coffee in front of him. He took the glass and walked to the dining room and took a seat next to his son who was busy looking at the list of school things he was going to need.

"dad" he said "look at how long the list is, oh oh and look, I am gonna get a wand, just like you and the others, when can we go dad"

Harry chuckled and ruffled his son's hair. He took one of the pieces of parchment that had the list and looked through it. He then looked up at his wife and heard their front door open up, and in came three young teens. The oldest of the three, James set down a couple bags on the counter before taking a seat across from Jason. He took out a small box from his jacket and put it in front of him. The second Albus walked over and looked at the letter Jason got. He smiled as he took a seat beside him.

"wow you finally got your letter mate" he said "guess you finally get to go to Hogwarts"

Jason nodded enthusiastically. His older sister Lily took a seat next to James and brushed her hair from over her eyes, and tucked it over her ear. She looked at her baby brother looked at her two other brothers and then the box on the table in front of Jason. She could tell Jason wanted to open the box. Finally Ginny came walking in and in her arms was a large parcel. Harry got up and excited the room, only to return a minute later with a parcel of his own. He set it down next to Ginny's and then looked at his youngest son.

"Happy Eleventh Birthday Jason" They all said in Unison
