"We can't save everyone," she said gentle, she knows their relationship but she still has to say it.

He looked at her through shaded eyes and wanted to silence her, but his mother raised him better than that. "I'm going to save him."

Garcia found nothing, 24 hours missing and no leads, no hints, no hope.

The team tells him to go home, rest, they'll call him when they find anything.

He wanted to laugh in their faces and they know it.

He runs, oh god he runs. Feet slam against pavement and sweat rolls down his body and his rage boils.

It's his job to protect him, it's his job to watch over him, it's his job to-

Love him.

He remembers saying that same damn thing to him, "We can't save everyone,"

And they can't.

But oh god he's not everyone, he's….his…he's Reid.

The cold air shocks his lung and it feels good, the pain reminds him he's alive.

His eyes sting when a drop of sweat falls from his forehead.

When Morgan finds himself back at his apartment he doesn't pause or even notice that his door isn't locked.

He tears off his shirt before the door has even closed, and he's kicking off his shoes without a care to their landing.

He's in his bedroom, his running shorts the only thing covering his dark body.

"I was wondering where you'd be coming home."

Morgan was sure that his heart stopped and nothing would tell him otherwise.

His hand is reaching for the light switch before his mind is aware of it.

The light floods the room and Morgan is face to face with his missing lover.

"Kid, Where the hell have you been?"

Reid smiled, "My mom's…didn't you see my note?"

Morgan's arms are around him, strong and protective, and oh so grateful to hold him again.

He pressed a heavy kiss to his lover's neck and tightens his old just a little more. "Wait-" he pulls away, "What note are you talking about?"

Reid smiled innocently at him. "The one on the bathroom mirror, I wrote it right after my shower right before I left."

Morgan rolled his eyes and growled.

"Where you looking for me?" Reid asked, giving a slight smile.

Morgan glanced down at him. "No one of our team goes missing and we just ignore it." Morgan leaned in for a gentle kiss.

Reid pulled away, "Shouldn't we call the team?"

Morgan pushed Reid down on the bed, a relieved smile covered his face, "We'll call them later."
