Percy woke up in the morning. The sun was shining outside. It was going to be another perfect day at camp. Percy had a shower and got dressed. As he headed out for breakfast he bumped into Grover, "Hey, ouch! Dude! Wats the hurry?" Percy laughed as Grover ran into him. "Cant find Juniper, oh gods, I hope she isnt mad at me for last night!" Grover sighed and shook his head. Percy raised his eyebrow questioningly. Grover winced and mumbled, "Dont ask..." Percy bit his lip not to laugh. He watched as Grover ran towards the woods and then headed off to the Athena cabin. He knocked on the door. Annabeth opened the door. "Hey Seaweed brain!" she smiled. She looked paler than usual. "Hey! Are you OK?" Percy asked as he pulled Annabeth into a hug. "Mmh... Not really. I think Im sick." Annabeth whispered. "Oh. You dont look too good!" Percy suggested and looked at Annabeth worriedly. Annabeth giggled.
Nico ran up to Percy and Annabeth. "Hey guys! Sup?" Nico grinned. "Nothing much. Annabeth feels a little sick though." Percy said. Nico tilted his head and looked at Annabeth like he couldnt beleive what he was seeing. "Whats wrong Nico?" Annabeth asked. "Huh? Oh nothing, I guess." Nico came back to reality but kept looking at Annabeth like he knew something no one else knew. Percy looked at Nico for a long moment. Nico looked around innocently. A sure mark he was hiding something. Suddenly Annabeth clutched her stomach and ran inside. "Annabeth!" Percy called after her. Nico looked inside with curiousity.
Soon Annabeth returned. "Ugh. I hate vomiting!" Annabeth moaned. "Maybe you should see a doctor." Percy said and pressed his hand on her forehead, she didnt seem to have fever. "Yeah Annabeth. I think you should see someone." Nico coureged. Annabeth looked at them both for a moment but decided not to argue. "Okay, see you later guys!" Annabeth kissed Percy and hugged Nico. "What was that all about?" Percy asked Nico, carefully reading his expresion. "Nothing. I just remembered something." Nico assured and ran accross the yard to the Canoe Lake. This day surely started off weirdly, Percy thought.
After breakfast Grover came to talk to Percy. "Did Juniper kill you?" Percy grinned at Grover and punched him on the shoulder. "Nah." Grover sounded releived. "I heard Annabeth was sick? Is she ok?" Grover asked. "I hope so, shes over at the Big House now." Percy sighed. "Yeah. I bumbed into Nico on the way, now dont get me wrong, I like that kid but he creeps me out! He stinks of death!" Grover laughed. "Well, gee. Why would that be?" Percy smiled. Grover laughed until tears were coming out of his eyes. "But anyways, I have to find Chiron. See you at lunch!" Grover patted Percy on the back and dissapeared.
