~Flower Garden Proposal~

Drew was waiting at home for his girlfriend May. He called her earlier that day to tell her to come over. He was planning to have a romantic dinner then to go in his backyard and propose to her in front of his rose garden. Now he was just sitting at his kitchen table dinner getting colder by the second and the ring resting in his front pocket. She was twenty minutes lat and Drew was getting worried. He started thinking she left him she left him and the reasons why she would. After an hour of ranting and waiting Drew went to bed.

Around mid-night he got a call

"Hello?" Drew said half asleep.

"Mr. Hayden?" a deep voice answered.

"Yes?"

"I'm doctor Oak I'm calling to tell you we have May Mable here at the pokacenter hospital. She was in a bad car accident she has bad internal bleeding and we're afraid she might not make it."

"When did it happen ?" Drew was already on his way to the hospital.

"About 8-O'clock."

"Is there anyway you will be able to stop it?"

"I'm sorry."

"Thank you for calling me." Drew said before hanging up.

He had just pulled into the parking lot and had ran inside. "May Maple!" Drew said to the woman at the front desk.

She typed the name into the computer "She's in surgery but her room is on the 3rd floor."

"Thank you!" Drew ran for the elevator. He rapidly pushed the button to open the elevator. When he finally made it into the elevator and rapidly pushed the three button.

When the elevator opened to the 3rd floor Drew ran to the nurses desk.

"I'm looking for doctor oak."

"He is with a patient right now. You can wait in the chairs located at my left."

Drew sat down a little frantic but he was able to keep it under control. Finally doctor Oak sat down next to him.

"Drew Hayden?" he asked

"Doctor Oak?"

"Yes May is still in surgery she will be out in a while. Were not sure if she's going to wake up."

"Were you able to stop the bleeding at all?"

"Yes so she will be alive a little longer and has more of a chance to wake up."

"Doctor I have a very important question to ask and I ask of you to no tmake a big deal about it. See I was going to propose to her tonight but she never showed so I was hoping to bring her out to one of the flower gardens you have outside. If what your saying is true about her not making it then this isn't going to kill her."

"well I suppose but you need to have a nurse with you at all times."

"Thank you sir."

About an hour later May was out of surgery resting in room 13. It was about one in the afternoon when may woke up.

Drew sat her in a wheel chair and brought her to the prettiest patch of flowers he could find outside the hospital. He pulled a dieing red thorn less rose out of his pocket and handed it to May. Then he got down on one knee and purposed. When he was done she said "yes" but was confused that when he showed her the ring on the stem of the flower. She thought it was beautiful and put it on as soon as she saw it. Later that night they were married at exactly 8:53 p.m. He never left her side not after the surgery not even when she died the following morning at 8:53 a.m.
