She really wasn't that beautiful Quinn decided. Her hair was only brown and in need of a good strengthener. Her eyes were brown also, noticeable only because of the green flecks in them if you looked close enough. Not that Quinn looked that closely. Plus her dress wasn't even the right color. Sure, it fit her nicely, but a greener dress would have complimented her more and brought out the color in her eyes.
"Doesn't Hermione look lovely tonight?" Said Victoire, sitting herself down next to Quinn and offering her a tall glass of champagne.
Quinn, taking the glass, glanced at Victoire, but didn't say anything.
"Her dress is absolutely gorgeous. It really compliments her well." Victoire continued, no longer looking at Hermione, but Quinn now.
When Quinn failed to answer again, Victoire rolled her eyes and sighed.
"This is the part where you agree and say something nice before planning on how to sneak outside with her and make out in the bushes." Victoire whispered in Quinn's ear before leaning back and smirking
Quinn whipped her head around, lips parted for a retort-
and was cut off by Victoire placing a hand across her mouth.
"No, I don't want to hear it." The taller girl said with a smile, leaning down to kiss Quinn's cheek before wandering off to find her boyfriend.
Quinn stared after the blond-haired girl in curiosity before smiling to herself and turning around to watch the partygoers again.
