So here it is. When I first wrote this, I was uber proud. When I looked back at it, I still decide which drug I was on when this... creature was born. Oh well. Still glad I wrote it, no matter the oddness.

Darkness. It closed around the impossibly white room, shadowing every corner and dipped alcove. Max shuddered visibly, and clenched her teeth. For a moment, she could have sworn she heard the soft clunk of a footstep, or the swish of a lab coat, but as soon as the blonde's ears perked, it was silent.
I'm going to drive myself insane if I keep this up... She thought, curling tighter around herself, wings twitching nervously.
And then, there was asound that actually lingered, echoing eerily and bouncing off the walls in the hallway that were the exact same shade of white as the room she was in currently, radiating into the leader's own little prison.
Clouded brown eyes focused intently on the gleaming door that made a stark contrast with it's vibrant silver gleam, tan fingers clenching hard enough to leave bruises on the already scarred sking of her forearms. Red cresents dotted her skin, showing where filthy fingernail had sug in, almost breaking the skin to allow a crimson flood.
Slowly, a sword of light heralded a visitor to the girl's personal hell, before a shadow filled the door, the dark masking the newcomer's face so that Max knew not whether he was friend or foe.
She instictually panicked when the figure began lumbering towards her, still swathed in masquerading shadows that made this person the cacaphony of mystery to the chocolate eyed girl.
Suddenly, a pale hand was gently prying her own from the place on her arm, before she was being pulled theplaster labrynth of the School.
Now she knew her rescuer.

The thought wriggled happily as crisp desert air flooded her nostrils, and Death Valley was presented before her, presenting her also the many places the rest of her make shift family was hiding
Told you it was wierd. And short... . Oh well.
