I watched her walk down the isle and sit herself next to him at the great hall. She kissed his left cheek and blushed, he turned to her and put his armed around her waist and whispered something. I turned back to my food, suddenly not hungry. A friend of mine, well I wouldn't say friend, sat next to me and saw the look on my face.
"Whats wrong with you Severus?" Lucius asked digging into his food.
I looked up and put on a brave face to show that nothing was on my mind.
"Nothing, just thinking about the next potions test." I made up hoping that it was convincing enough. It was. Lucius smirked and began talking to a blonde called Narcissa.

I didn't know why I loved her. It was almost everything about her. The way her red hair fell over her shoulders, the way her eyes glittered when we talked. The only thing I couldn't stand about her was that she was with him, never again would she give me another chance.

I watched her leave her table with her hand in his, he leaned in to kiss her and I instantly felt as though a sharp knife had just gone through my body when she kissed him. She smiled and that's when I realised, even if I was never going to be with her, no matter how much it hurt me, a long as she was happy, i would be too.
I continued to watch her from a distance and I watched her grow and live her life with him. Not me. It made me dark inside but my spirits always lifted whenever I saw her flash her radiant smile.
