A/N: So it's been a while since I've written. I've recently become obsessed with the anime/manga, Citrus, so I decided to write some Mei x Yuzu fluff. Enjoy! :)

I'm leaving for school now," Mei said, picking up her bag and walking out the door.
Yuzu was still at the breakfast table. She quickly rinsed off her plate, threw on her shoes, grabbed her bag, and ran out the door after Mei. She didn't wait for the elevator, as it was too slow, but ran down the stairs to the lobby. She stopped for a moment to catch her breath, then glimpsed Mei's dark hair as Mei walked out of the building.
"Mei!" she exclaimed when she had caught up to her step sister, panting.
"Yuzu," Mei said, then turned to walk away.
"Wait, Mei! Why are you avoiding me?" Yuzu suddenly exclaimed.
Mei looked with sad eyes at Yuzu. Then, without a word, she walked away, leaving Yuzu there, frozen, without an answer.
Yuzu arrived at school, walking with her head hung low.
"Yuzu!" came the familiar voice of Harumin. She had barely registered this when Harumin tackled Yuzu in a hug.
Yuzu pushed her friend away. "I should get to class," she muttered.
"Girl, what's going on?" Harumin asked
"Nothing," Yuzu muttered.
"Was it something between you and Mei?" Harumin asked in a teasing voice with a sly grin.
"It's none of your business!" Yuzu exclaimed, running into the school.
"Sorry," Harumin muttered. But Yuzu was gone
Yuzu was quiet the whole day at school, thinking to herself. She doesn't like me the way I like her. Maybe I should just give up and stop talking with her. I should stop trying to be with her.
And that's exactly what she did. For a while, all Yuzu said to Mei was, 'good morning' or 'goodnight'. It got to the point where Mei couldn't take Yuzu's perpetual silence anymore.
One day, after Mei had finished her student council work and arrived at home, she walked into her and Yuzu's shared room. She set down her bag, while Yuzu sat on the bed doing her homework.
"Hi Mei," Yuzu said, then went back to her homework.
Mei climbed onto the bed, slowly moving to Yuzu's side. She pushed Yuzu down, their hands clasped together. Mei leaned down to kiss yeah softly on her pinkish red lips. Mei pulled away from the other girl, who lay on the bed, flabbergasted.
"I'm sorry, Yuzu. I've been awful to you and our relationship lately. I thought denying my feelings for you would make things easier for the both of us. However, I was clearly mistaken, as that was not the case," Mei explained.
Mei leaned down to kiss Yuzu again, this time longer and with more passion.
"Yuzu, I do too," Mei said.
Yuzu looked at Mei, confused.
"Yuzu, I love you!" Mei exclaimed.
Yuzu brought Mei's lips to hers. "I do too Mei, I do too."
