The Fire Starts

This is my first Chronocross Fan fic I basically write Star Wars and Chronotrigger and when I saw this scene in the video game I decided to write a story. The dialogue has been changed and some of the scenes are different.
Serge ran through the burning house with his two companions Glenn and Fargo.
"We have to hurry I can sense Lynx's presence in here the stench of his power." Serge growled as they ran into a fire giant, a giant monster made out of lave with wings on his back. Fargo and Glenn quickly drew their weapons and began to attack the monster with Serge.
"Deluge." Serge screamed holding out his hand and a river of water fell on the fire giant destroying it into a batch of ashes. Fargo soon disappeared into thin air and a small voice whispered in Serge's ear.
"Sorry master we don't have the power."
Serge looked down at his weapon a two bladed sword, which is the second coming to the holy sword Masamune.
"I know guys just hold on for a little while longer. Let's go Glenn." Serge quickly ran into the kitchen where he claimed the Ice Gun from the wall and destroyed another Giant.
"According to the kid there is a secret passage in the bed room, Serge." Glenn said looking at the destruction Lynx has caused.
Serge and Glenn quickly ran to the bedroom and open the trapdoor just after going down it Glenn disappeared and Serge knew he was alone. He quickly put out the fires and then heard four voices.
"Lucca, I'm scared." A little girl's voice said softly and then there was a mature woman.
"Don't worry, Kid. I'll protect you."
Then Serge eyes narrow when he heard the next voice it sounded like a growl.
"So there you are Lucca and the little brat is with you. Surrender Lucca and come with us and we will spare the children." Lynx said with sneer as Harle laughed with her French accent.
That was the final straw for Serge as he burst into the room surprising the four people especially Lynx and Harle.
"You!! I should have known you would come, Chrono trigger." Lynx snarled his eyes clouding with hatred as he looked at Serge.
"Leave them alone you monster. It's me you want." Serge screamed holding his palm out and suddenly launched a bright beam of light hitting Lynx in the chest and knocking him against the wall.
"Monsieur Lynx, its Serge we have to flee I can sense his power and it's overwhelming." Harle said scared drawing her own weapon out looking at Serge.
Serge eyes suddenly turn to Harle smiling a little.
"Leave Harle I owe you one so please don't make me kill you." Lynx quickly jumped to his feet and yelled out.
"We will meet again, Serge." Lynx and Harle disappeared into a gate and Serge turned to Lucca and Kid.
"Are you two ok?" He asked looking down at the two trembling girls.
"Who are you? They called you Chrono trigger." Lucca said a little scared of the boy until he smiled.
"I am the Chrono trigger and thus have the ability to stop Lynx and Lavos one and for all you and Kid get out of here."
Serge slowly glimmered and disappeared his warm smile making Lucca think there is hope for the future.
