Whoa, there's a lot of projects I am self-collaborating on. Here's a quick one that I whipped out. This is a simple Full Moon gospel poetry. Review, but don't flame.

Hallelujah, I Am Saved, Can I Have An Amen?
By Jo-Ryan Salazar
***********
The Lord works in mysterious ways,
And how he built his plan for me
Was no different
Than that rhythmic gymnast
Who also longed for her parents,
Her hair wrapped in rosettes,
Or that girl
Who lived in a parallel universe,
Denying her ladylike values,
And becoming a stranger in this town.
Yet, for the life of me…
Hallelujah, I am saved,
Can I have an amen?
I see myself at a crossroads,
Now also washed in the blood of Christ
and clothed by the light
of the sun and moon,
breathing the air of heaven
After knocking on its door,
And asking a higher, curious authority
To believe in what I can do.
Before I was where I was,
I could not sing,
For my throat was maligned
With a circumstance
That would put me on the brink
Of living, and not living
To see another rising son.
Hallelujah, I am saved,
Can I have an amen?
As if I could not live any longer,
I saw in my visions two guardian angels
Telling me I have one year
To repent for my loss of pride.
I said to them, I will stop at no costs
To make it happen.
And they are pleased, not because of
My ambition, but because they
Saw a purity that emulated
Mother Mary, the queen of heaven and earth.
They smiled, and agreed to make sure
It was a reality,
Before it was too late.
All of a sudden,
I became four years
My prior senior,
My hair cascading down in streaks
Of yellow, and I realized
This was my chance.
Hallelujah, I am saved,
Can I have an amen?
One observer once told me,
I only made it happen because of
My looks.
I felt disheartened at first,
But there was a part of me
That knew
It was more than that.
It was about my music,
The music that my heart would
Write. With this pen
I turn thoughts into melody,
Words into lyrics,
poetry into song.
Hallelujah, I am saved,
Can I have an amen?
It seemed, for once,
That it came out naturally.
And, as if by a swig of lightning,
The thoughts of my parents
Come out.
Pure, remorseful bitterness.
No, it wasn't my fault.
It had no right to be.
But when I look at
My parents grave,
I could only wish
That I would be with them.
And suddenly,
I close my eyes,
Sleeping in my room,
And I see my parents
Taking my hand.
I had nothing to worry,
Nothing to be bitter about.
I was with them again.
My voice had been restored,
As if there was nothing wrong
With it.
Hallelujah, I am saved,
Can I have an amen?
A few years pass,
And my grandmother passes away,
The housemaid leaves as well,
Leaving me alone by myself.
I start to cry, saying,
Eichi-kun, where are you?
A minute later,
Someone arrives,
I open the door, and I see
Who I wanted to be with.
He told me,
You have done it.
And now I want to be with you forever.
Will you marry me?
Naturally, I accepted,
And every day, every night felt like
I was free as a bird.
I was born with wings,
And so was Eichi-kun,
And someday, someway,
We'll fly away from here
The song of the full moon following us,
Feathers scattered all over the city.
Now how can you say there isn't a plan for any of us?
Hallelujah, I am saved,
And now I have an amen.
