Rpov

I walked into the party, dreading seeing Dimitri. I honestly felt kind of bad about kissing him now. Sadly, it doesn't really matter now, since it's too late to change the past, which means I'll just have to focus on the future.

When I got inside, I went straight for Lissa, not bothering to look for Dimitri or anyone else really.

"Hey Liss!" I tried putting on an unusually chipper facade, but she saw right through it.

"What's wrong? And don't say that it's nothing, because it's not." She said, pausing to take a breath.

"We'll talk about it later," I mumbled.

"Well, never mind that, I know exactly what will cheer you up!" She clapped her hands, "Go see Tasha, and she'll get you set up!"

"Umm… okay?" I said walking away, and having no idea what she meant.

She was just getting up to go get another drink, so I caught her on her way to where the champagne was. "Hey Tasha, Lissa sent me over here to talk to you. I don't know what it's about though."

"It's about your Christmas present. We made a joint effort this year." She smiled at me, and I suddenly felt really bad.

"You didn't have to do that for me! I didn't even think to get you anything, I'm so sorry, Tasha," I stated, hanging my head.

"Don't worry about it, I know you have a lot on your plate, and besides, I wasn't expecting anything."

"I'm still sorry," I said, trying to think of a way to make it up to her.

"Well, don't be, because you should enjoy today. Now, what you need to do is go to your room and put on an outfit that has already been set out for you. There should be further instruction from there. You'd better hurry, or you'll be late!" She exclaimed, after looking at her watch.

"Thanks again!" I called, running out the door, and probably getting strange looks from just about everyone in the process.

Page Break

When I got to my room, there was a gorgeous red dress, black stilettos, and a note just like Tasha said there would be.

I quickly put the dress and heels on, hoping that they were the right size - which miraculously, they were. I grabbed the note and quickly read it.

Dearest Rosemarie,

Meet me in the gardens at 5:00.

The note confused the heck out of me, who would send this note to me? The handwriting did seem familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on who's it was.

I looked at my alarm clock, and realized that it was 4:57, and I was going to be late if I didn't hurry up. Even if the gardens were literally right outside my dorm.

So I ran outside, and was surprised at who I saw. "What the actual fuck are you doing here?"

"Language, Rosemarie," He said.

"I sincerely hope that you aren't trying to control what I'm saying right now," I hissed.

"I'm not trying to control anything. I just don't like your choice of words," He stated nonchalantly.

"Whatever, Draco," I said, looking away. "I just want to know why you're here."

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "I'm here to apologize for the fight from before you left. I just didn't want to lose you."

"The sad part is that you were right. There is nothing for me here besides Lissa."

"That's not what I'd thought I'd hear, at all," He was shocked.

"Yeah, sorry for dropping a bomb on you like that. You know, I should probably leave," I was suddenly super embarrassed.

As I turned to leave, he gently grabbed my arm. "What is it now?"

"I missed you! Okay? I was a mess without you there. I need you to come back with me, I'm just about begging you here. Besides, If what you said was true, then you won't mind," He finished.

"So, I'm curious, Is this you trying to get back together with me as well, or is it just you trying to get me to go back to Hogwarts with you?"

"Yes, I'm also trying to get back together with you."

"Well, Draco, luckily for you I missed you too," I accidentally let my accent slip because my emotions were everywhere, but I didn't mind. It actually felt kind of good to be able to speak normally for once in my life.

"Well in that case, I believe we have a party to attend," He smirked, giving me his arm.

"I'm glad you haven't changed, like at all," I laughed kissing his cheek, and taking his arm.

"I would say the same to you, Rosemarie," He said, turning to look at me.

"We better get going before they start wondering why we're taking so much time," I laughed again, but this time nervously.

"We have some time, I'm sure," He said, leaning in.

"Yeah, we have some time," I murmured, melting into his kiss.

I currently don't know if I want to leave this as a one-shot or a story, so if you could comment and tell me what to do, it would be amazing. Hope you have an amazing day!
