'Are you okay?' Asked Tom tentatively to Nicki, who had just put some pills in her mouth.

'Yes!' Replied Nicki quickly, 'now go away.'

Tom didn't move. He just stared at her.

'Leave!' Exclaimed Nicki but Tom walked towards her and got the bottle out of her hand. Nicki breathed loudly, her cheeks burning red.

Tom took one glance at the bottle and read the label aloud, 'anti depressants,' he stared at Nicki, 'what do you need these for?'

'Take a guess,' replied Nicki coldly, folding her arms as she returned his gaze, 'when I joined the army, seeing soldiers die and families being torn apart, I couldn't take it.'

'But you're not in the army anymore so?' Said Tom, holding Nicki's hand comfortingly. Nicki just shrugged in reply.

'I never got over it I guess,' she murmured, 'all of those people I failed to save.' Her breathing became uneven as a single tear trickled down her cheek. She wiped it away quickly and went to leave the room.

'Why don't you see someone about it?' Asked Tom.

'Because people would think I'm weak.' Nicki responded, her hand clenched around the door handle.
