Will's POVā¦.
WOOSH! He head the sudden sound again. What was that? Will wondered as he notched another arrow and aimed the longbow at a nearby tree. He made sure the bow was aimed at the right degree and pulled the string back until the feathers attached to the end of the arrow touched his cheek, and let the string go. The arrow arched gracefully through the air and hit the tree with a satisfying 'thud'. He sighed and notched another arrow., he had practiced for more than two hours already just as Halt had suggested. He walked around the small clearing and retrieved his arrows. Once he was finished pulling the sharp points free of the trees' rough bark, he walked towards the small cabin that he and his mentor, Halt, share. As he walked in, he saw Halt sitting in his usual chair by the fire. Will strolled over quietly.
"Halt?" he asked the senior ranger. "Hmm?" Halt answered in his gruff voice.
