Um...so this is my first post and I'm a little paranoid about the whole story guidelines thing...
Well, I put the meanings of the poem at the end I guess you could skip that...

Oh yeah. In the poem and meanings, "I" is a homunculus (whoever you want, canon or OC) and "you" means the alchemist who created him/her

Not A Human
I want to laugh
I want to cry
I want to live
I want to die
Is this the first hello?
Or the final good-bye?
I bring false hope
I am nothing but a lie
I am not a human
But one of the homunculi
MEANING:
"I want to laugh/I want to cry" - I want to be able to feel emotions
"I want to live/I want to die" - I don't want to die but I never wanted to come back
"Is this the first hello/Or the final good-bye" - SEVERAL MEANINGS: I've come back so this is "the first hello" in my life, but you are going to die/ Hello, I've come back but I am not the person you wanted to bring back making his/her death more final so "the final good-bye"
"I bring false hope/I am nothing but a lie" - False hope because you believed you could bring back whoever you lost but in reality it's impossible, I am a lie because I am not the person you wanted to bring to life
"I am not a human/But one of the few homunculi" - Do I really need to explain this?
Yes. That was a short poem. But I feel proud of it. Review if you want to, but I just want to know if people like my writing. Please don't flame me.
