Doumeki struggled to fall to sleep, he knew that the next day would be bringing hardships for him, but he also knew there was no other way, he had to tell Watanuki. He didn't want Watanuki to leave; his heart wouldn't be able to bare it. He also couldn't bare the thought of his losing Watanuki to his cousin Kazuki; the fact that he knew Watanuki since they were little bothered him. To top that off he could see thing just like Watanuki, the only difference being that the "things" didn't attack him because, he was like Doumeki. They both had "exorcist" Blood in them.
The only side fact that helped Doumeki was that there was nothing Kazuki could do to actually exorcising the sprits. So that at least meant that Watanuki still needed him, at least he'd hope he did. Since his parents told him his aunt was sick and that they would be taking in his cousin, he thought that it would be for a short time…it's been 3 weeks since then, and now he's officially transferring to his school. At first he had no problem with Kazuki coming, nor the fact that he was transferring to his school, he didn't care…that was until Kazuki's first day of school.
It happened at lunch time, that's when Doumeki first noticed it. It would have been like any other lunch, him telling Watanuki that the bento needs more salt. Watanuki getting frustrated and yelling at Doumeki, something which he somewhat enjoyed…thought this would leave him deaf by age 20.Then in the middle of becoming deaf, that's when Kazuki showed up. It happened fast, and this was something he didn't see coming. Kazuki was calmly walking towards them…until he saw Watanuki, and then his walk became a running hurricane directed at Watanuki. Once Kazuki was a few feet away he jump and wrapped his arms around Watanuki, making him lose his balance. Kazuki was on top of Watanuki.
