A/N This is the last of my Troy poems but I will gladly write more for those who enjoyed these. This is for my favorite Trojan.
Disclaimer: The movie Troy is owned my Wolfgang Peterson and Warner Bros. but I would gladly buy it from them if I had the money.
Hector
He knew he was going to die
As he stood in front of his opponent.
It was only a matter of time
Before he would run him through.
It had only been an accident
Nevertheless, the price of it was dear.
Now he'll never see his son grow up
Or his wife grow old with age.
He knew his city would fall
And worried for his people,
But he had no time to think
For his fight began.
And when his opponent stabbed him
The pain was fleeting.
Now all he had to do was wait
For him to die.
So now, he waits
On the banks of the river Styx.
Waiting for his brothers,
Waiting for his wife.
A/N I cried when he died. Hector truly was a man to be reckoned with.
